4. Setup

Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged.

  1. Initial Charge: Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the DC 5V Power Socket (11) and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). Charge until the battery indicator on the LCD display (10) shows full. A full charge takes approximately 7 hours.
  2. Power On: Slide the Power On/Off Button (9) to the 'On' position. The LCD display (10) will light up.
  3. Inserting a CD: Gently open the CD Cover (16) and place a CD into the CD Compartment (17) with the label facing up. Close the CD Cover.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 CD Playback

  1. Ensure a CD is inserted (see Setup).
  2. Press the Function Button (5) until 'CD' mode is displayed on the LCD.
  3. The CD will begin playing automatically. If not, press the Pause/Play Button (7).
  4. Adjust volume using the Music Knob (2) or the remote control.
  5. To skip tracks, short press the Next Track (6) or Previous Track (8) buttons.
  6. To fast forward/rewind, long press the Next Track (6) or Previous Track (8) buttons.
  7. To pause/resume playback, short press the Pause/Play Button (7).
  8. To stop playback, long press the Pause/Play Button (7).

5.2 Bluetooth Playback (Transmitter & Receiver)

Bluetooth Receiver Mode (Play music from phone/iPad on CD Player)

  1. Press the Function Button (5) until 'BT' mode is displayed on the LCD. The device will enter pairing mode.
  2. On your mobile device, search for 'TOMASHI CD-67' in the Bluetooth settings and pair.
  3. Once connected, music played on your mobile device will output through the CD player's speakers.

Bluetooth Transmitter Mode (Play CD music on Bluetooth headphones/speakers)

  1. Ensure the CD player is in CD playback mode.
  2. Activate pairing mode on your Bluetooth headphones or speaker.
  3. Long press the Bluetooth Button (3) on the CD player. The device will search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
  4. Once connected, CD audio will transmit to your paired Bluetooth headphones/speaker.

5.3 USB & TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB drive into the USB Slot (13) or a TF card into the TF Card Slot (12).
  2. Press the Function Button (5) until 'USB' or 'TF' mode is displayed.
  3. The device will automatically detect and play compatible audio files (MP3, WMA).
  4. Use the Next Track (6) and Previous Track (8) buttons to navigate.

5.4 AUX Input

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN port (14) using the provided AUX cable.
  2. Press the Function Button (5) until 'AUX' mode is displayed.
  3. Audio from your external device will now play through the CD player's speakers. Control playback from your external device.

5.5 Headphone Output

Connect wired headphones to the headphone jack (located near AUX IN port 14) for private listening. Note: The product description indicates that when headphones are connected, the internal speakers may continue to operate. This is a 'line out' jack, not an 'aux in' jack that mutes speakers.

5.6 Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of all playback functions, volume adjustment, and mode selection from a distance. Point the remote towards the Remote Control Receiving Location (4).
