This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Insoma 2-Zone Brass Inlet Hose Timer. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and longevity of your device.

Setup
1. Install Batteries
The timer requires 2 new AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting.

2. Prepare Faucet and Timer
To prevent leaks, wrap Teflon tape (thread seal tape) clockwise around the threads of your outdoor faucet before attaching the timer. The timer's brass inlet includes a built-in metal filter gasket to prevent sediment from entering your irrigation system.

3. Attach Timer to Faucet
Screw the timer's brass inlet onto your outdoor faucet. Hand-tighten until secure. Do not overtighten.

4. Connect Hoses
Connect your garden hoses to the two independent outlets at the bottom of the timer. The timer comes with two 1/2" quick hose fittings for standard 3/4" or 1/2" garden hoses.

Operating Instructions
The Insoma 2-Zone Hose Timer features a rotary dial and control buttons for easy programming.
1. Set Current Time (Set Clock)
- Turn the dial to "SET CLOCK".
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the current exact time.
- Press the 'OK' button to switch between hours and minutes.
- Tip: Press and hold the '+' or '-' button to scroll the desired time faster.

2. Program Automatic Watering
The timer allows independent programming for each of its two zones.
- Set Start Time:
- Turn the dial to "START TIME".
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the desired start time (0:00-24:00).
- Press the 'OK' button to switch between hours and minutes.
- Press the "ZONE" button to switch between Zone 1 and Zone 2 to set their respective start times.
- Set Watering Duration (How Long):
- Turn the dial to "HOW LONG".
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the watering duration (1 minute to 23 hours 59 minutes).
- Press the 'OK' button to switch between hours and minutes.
- Press the "ZONE" button to switch between Zone 1 and Zone 2.
- Tip: Setting a duration of "00:00" will prevent watering for that zone.
- Set Watering Frequency (How Often):
- Turn the dial to "HOW OFTEN".
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the frequency (Every 1-23 hours or Every 1-7 days).
- Press the "ZONE" button to switch between Zone 1 and Zone 2.
- Activate Auto Mode:
- Turn the dial to "AUTO". The timer will now operate according to your programmed schedules.

3. Manual Watering Mode
This mode allows temporary watering without affecting your preset automatic schedule.
- Keep the dial at "AUTO".
- Press the "OK/MANUAL" button.
- Use the "ZONE" button to select Zone 1, Zone 2, or both zones.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to set the manual watering duration (1-59 minutes).
- Press the "OK/MANUAL" button again to start manual watering.
- To stop manual watering, press the "OK/MANUAL" button again. This will exit manual mode and resume the original watering program.

4. Rain Delay Function
The rain delay function allows you to pause watering for a set period to prevent overwatering during rainy weather.
- Keep the dial at "AUTO".
- Press and hold the '+' button for 3-5 seconds to activate the rain delay mode. The display will show a delay duration.
- Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust the delay duration (1-7 days).
- Press 'OK' to confirm the rain delay.
- To cancel the rain delay, press and hold the '+' button for 3-5 seconds again. This will exit the rain delay mode and restore the original watering program.

5. Stop Watering (OFF Mode)
To completely stop all watering programs and prevent automatic operation:
- Turn the dial to "OFF".
- Your settings are saved, but the timer will not water automatically in OFF Mode. The screen will display "OFF" in large letters.
