2. Pair Your PSVR2 Sense Controller

Simultaneously press and hold the L1/R1 (create) and PS buttons until the respective status indicators start to blink. Make sure your Windows PC's Bluetooth® function is on. Search for your controllers in the Bluetooth® settings and select them to complete the pairing process. If your Windows PC does not have a built-in Bluetooth function, you may need to connect via an adapter (sold separately). Not all adapters will function properly.

3. Connect Your PC Adapter to Your Windows PC's USB 3.0 Type-A Port

The adapter package includes a DP 1.4 cable, featuring a special latch-free design for easier plugging and unplugging, while still maintaining a stable connection.

4. Use a DP 1.4 Cable to Connect Your PC Adapter to Your Windows PC's DisplayPort Port

Connect the DisplayPort cable from the adapter to your PC's DisplayPort.

Note: It is recommended to connect to a USB 3.0 port at the back of the computer case or higher-speed ports for enhanced stability.

5. Connect the AC Adapter to the DC IN Connector on Your PC Adapter

Make all connections before plugging the AC adapter into the socket. Your PC adapter's status indicator will turn solid red.

6. Connect Your PSVR2 Headset to PC Adapter's USB Type-C Port and Turn It On

Your PC adapter's status indicator and VR headset's power indicator will turn solid white. Then, open the PSVR 2 App and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup.

Troubleshooting

  • Display Glitching/Unstable Connection (PSVR2): If your PSVR2 headset experiences display glitches or an unstable connection, especially at 90fps, try setting your SteamVR refresh rate to 120fps. Some users have reported this resolves the issue. Ensure all cables are securely connected and that you are using a USB 3.0 port directly on your PC, preferably at the back of the computer case.
  • Overheating: While the adapter features an aluminum case for heat dissipation, prolonged use may cause it to warm up. Ensure adequate ventilation around the adapter. If overheating persists and causes disconnections, contact support.
  • PSVR2 Controller Pairing Issues: Ensure your PC has a functional Bluetooth adapter. If using an external Bluetooth adapter, verify its compatibility and proper installation. Re-attempt the pairing process as described in the setup section.
  • No Display/Signal: Verify that the DisplayPort cable is correctly connected to both the adapter and your PC's DisplayPort. Ensure the 15W AC power supply is properly connected and plugged into a live electrical outlet. Check the status indicators on both the adapter and your VR headset.
