5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your steamer.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the steamer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
- Detachable Parts: The lid, three steamer trays, and drip tray are fully detachable and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Alternatively, wash them by hand with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits may accumulate in the water reservoir. To descale, fill the reservoir with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Run the steamer for 20-30 minutes, then unplug and let it cool. Drain the solution and rinse the reservoir thoroughly.
- Storage: The steamer baskets feature an ingenious stackable design for ultra-compact storage. Store the clean and dry components in a cabinet or pantry.

6. Troubleshooting
- Steamer not turning on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the timer is set and the 'START/STOP' button has been pressed.
- No steam or insufficient steam: Check the water level in the reservoir. Refill if necessary. Ensure the lid is properly seated on the top basket.
- Food not cooking evenly: Ensure food items are cut into similar sizes. Avoid overfilling baskets, allowing steam to circulate freely. Rearrange baskets or food items if needed.
- Water leaking: Ensure the drip tray is correctly positioned on the base unit and the baskets are properly stacked. Check for any cracks or damage to the baskets or drip tray.
- Automatic shut-off activates prematurely: This indicates the water reservoir is empty. Refill water through the side inlet.
