3. Unpacking and Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials, including tape and protective film. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to the carrier and your supplier.

3.2 Placement

Place the refrigerator on a strong, level surface capable of supporting its weight (approximately 326 lbs empty, plus contents). Ensure adequate air circulation around the unit. Maintain a minimum of 6 inches (15 cm) clearance from walls or other obstructions for proper ventilation of the condenser coil.

Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, near heat-producing equipment, or in areas with high humidity.

3.3 Caster Installation

The unit is equipped with 4-inch casters for mobility. Ensure all casters are securely locked once the unit is in its final position to prevent accidental movement.

3.4 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the interior and exterior surfaces with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

3.5 Power Connection

Connect the unit to a dedicated 115V/60Hz/1-ph electrical outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug. The unit draws 2.1 amps. Do not overload the circuit.

3.6 Initial Startup

After placement and power connection, allow the unit to sit for at least 2 hours before turning it on. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Turn on the unit using the main power switch. The digital temperature controller will display the current internal temperature.

5. Maintenance

WARNING: Always disconnect power to the unit before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

5.1 Cleaning the Interior

Regularly clean the interior with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner and warm water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that can damage surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly to prevent odors and bacterial growth.

5.2 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe down the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and a stainless steel cleaner or mild soap and water. Polish in the direction of the grain to avoid scratches. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

5.3 Condenser Coil Cleaning

The condenser coil, located at the bottom of the unit, should be cleaned every 30 days or as needed to ensure efficient operation. Use a stiff brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris from the coil fins. A dirty condenser coil can lead to increased energy consumption and reduced cooling performance.

5.4 Automatic Air Defrost

This unit features an automatic air defrost system, eliminating the need for manual defrosting under normal operating conditions. If excessive ice buildup occurs, check door seals and ensure proper ventilation.

5.5 Door Gasket Inspection

Regularly inspect the door gasket for cracks, tears, or signs of wear. A damaged gasket can lead to air leaks, affecting cooling efficiency. Replace damaged gaskets promptly.
