Installation Guide

Before You Begin

• Turn off power at the main circuit breaker.
• Ensure the ceiling junction box is securely mounted and capable of supporting the fan's weight.
• Gather all necessary tools: screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, ladder.
• Confirm room dimensions are suitable for a downrod mount fan. Recommended room height: 7-10 ft, length & width: 8 ft x 8 ft.

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Mounting Bracket Installation: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
2. Downrod Assembly: Insert the downrod through the canopy and coupling. Feed the electrical wires from the fan motor through the downrod. Secure the downrod to the fan motor assembly with the provided pin and screw.
3. Hanging the Fan: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it on the mounting bracket hook. This will free your hands for wiring.
4. Wiring Connections: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram in the full manual. Typically, this involves connecting live, neutral, and ground wires. Use wire nuts to secure connections.
5. Secure Canopy: Once wiring is complete, carefully push the canopy up against the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket with the screws.
6. Install Light Bulbs: Screw four E26 base light bulbs (not included) into the sockets.
7. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Remote Control Functions

• ALL OFF: Turns off both fan and light.
• LIGHT ON/OFF: Toggles the light on or off.
• F (Forward) / R (Reverse): Changes the direction of fan rotation (Summer/Winter mode).
• Natural Wind Mode: Simulates natural breeze by varying fan speed.
• 1-6 (Fan Speed): Selects one of six fan speeds. 1-2 for relaxation, 3-4 for everyday tasks, 5-6 for strong cooling.
