Setup

1. Compatibility

The Xiaomi Focus Pen is specifically designed for use with the Xiaomi Pad 7. Ensure your device is compatible before attempting to connect.

2. Initial Pairing and Charging

To pair and charge the Xiaomi Focus Pen, simply attach it magnetically to the designated charging area on your Xiaomi Pad 7. The pen will automatically connect and begin charging. A full charge provides approximately 11 hours and 40 minutes of usage. A quick 1-minute charge can provide up to 40 minutes of usage.

Operating Instructions

1. Writing and Drawing

The Xiaomi Focus Pen offers 8132 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing for precise control over line thickness and opacity. Adjust your handwriting and paint strokes by simply increasing or decreasing the pressure applied to the pen. The 26° tapered design of the nib provides an ultra-realistic writing experience.

2. Spotlight Button Functions

• Pointer: Press and hold the button for a few seconds to activate a virtual laser pointer, useful for presentations.
• Highlighter: After bringing up the brush icon, long press the button to circle and annotate. Double-click to clear the screen.
• Remote Shutter: Click the button to take photos or start/stop video recording. This function is only available in the Camera App.
