1. Product Overview

3. Setup and Pairing

Follow these steps to set up and pair your CYBERDOT GPS Tracker with your iOS device:

Ensure your iOS device has Bluetooth enabled.
Open the "Find My" app on your iPhone or iPad.
Navigate to the "Items" tab at the bottom of the screen.
Tap "Add Item", then select "Other Supported Item".
Press and hold the power button on the CYBERDOT tracker for 12 seconds until you hear a continuous beeping sound. This resets the tracker and puts it into pairing mode.
Your device will begin searching for the tracker. Once "LocatePro" appears, tap "Connect".
Follow the on-screen prompts to name your tracker and select an emoji to represent it.
Review the privacy and security information, then tap "Agree" and finally "Finish".

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Locating Your Item

Once paired, you can locate your item using the Find My app:

Open the "Find My" app.
Go to the "Items" tab.
Select your CYBERDOT tracker from the list.
The app will display the current or last known location on a map.
Tap "Directions" to get navigation to your item's location.

4.2. Playing a Sound to Find Nearby Items

If your item is nearby but out of sight, you can make the tracker play a sound:

In the Find My app, select your tracker.
Tap "Play Sound". The tracker will emit an audible beep (80-1dB) to help you locate it.
Tap "Stop Sound" to silence the tracker.

4.3. Left-Behind Reminder

Receive alerts when you leave your tracked item behind:

In the Find My app, select your tracker.
Under "Notifications", enable "Notify When Left Behind".
You can also set specific locations where you do not want to be notified (e.g., your home or office).

4.4. Lost Mode

If your item is truly lost, activate Lost Mode:

In the Find My app, select your tracker.
Scroll down and tap "Enable" under "Lost Mode".
Follow the prompts to enter a phone number or email address where you can be contacted if someone finds your item.
When someone finds your item and taps their NFC-enabled iPhone or Android phone to your tracker, they will see your contact information.

4.5. Sharing Your Item

You can share the location of your tracker with family and friends:

Ensure your iOS is updated to iOS 17 or later.
In the Find My app, select your tracker.
Tap "Share This Item" and follow the instructions to invite others to view its location.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Battery Replacement

The CYBERDOT GPS Tracker uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, which typically lasts over one year. To replace the battery:

Locate the small groove or opening on the side of the tracker.
Use a small, flat tool (like a coin or a flathead screwdriver) to gently pry open the tracker casing.
Remove the old CR2032 battery.
Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
Align the two halves of the tracker and press firmly until they click securely into place.

Note: Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

5.2. Cleaning and Care

Wipe the tracker with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
While the device is IPX67 waterproof, avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water jets.
Store the tracker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Tracker not pairing.	Bluetooth is off; tracker not in pairing mode; low battery.	Ensure Bluetooth is on. Press and hold the tracker button for 12 seconds until it beeps continuously to enter pairing mode. Replace battery if needed.
Inaccurate location.	Limited Apple devices nearby; GPS signal interference.	The Find My network relies on nearby Apple devices. Location accuracy may vary in areas with fewer devices. Move to an open area for better signal.
No "Left-Behind Reminder".	Feature not enabled; app permissions.	Enable "Notify When Left Behind" in the Find My app settings for the tracker. Check app notification permissions in your iOS settings.
Tracker not playing sound.	Out of Bluetooth range; low battery.	Ensure your phone is within Bluetooth range of the tracker. Replace the battery.
