6. Drainage Options
Your dehumidifier offers three convenient drainage methods:
6.1. Manual Draining (Water Tank)
The unit collects water in its internal 1.14-gallon water tank. When the tank is full, the 'BUCKET FULL' indicator will light up, and the unit will automatically shut off. To empty:
- Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
- Carry the tank to a sink or drain using the built-in handle.
- Empty the collected water.
- Slide the empty tank back into the unit until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation if powered on.
6.2. Automatic Drainage (Continuous)
For continuous operation without emptying the tank, you can connect the included drain hose for gravity drainage.
- Locate the drain outlet on the back of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug.
- Connect the provided 3.28 ft drain hose to the outlet.
- Ensure the hose is positioned downwards and leads to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, large bucket) to allow water to flow out by gravity. The hose must be below the drain outlet.
6.3. Portable Drainage (Garden Hose Compatible)
The unit is compatible with a standard garden hose (not included) for extended continuous drainage options.
- Follow steps 1-3 from Automatic Drainage.
- Connect a standard garden hose to the drain outlet.
- Route the garden hose to a suitable drain, ensuring a continuous downward slope for gravity drainage.
