1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Auveach F19-L Automatic Pet Feeder. This device is designed to provide a convenient and reliable way to feed your pet, ensuring a balanced diet with up to 6 meals per day. It supports both wet and dry food, featuring a programmable timer and reusable ice packs to maintain food freshness. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Keep the feeder out of reach of children and pets when not in use or during assembly.
  • Use the feeder only for its intended purpose of dispensing pet food.
  • Do not immerse the base unit, which contains electronic components, in water or any other liquid.
  • Ensure batteries are installed correctly according to polarity markings. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
  • Supervise your pet during initial uses to ensure they adapt to the feeder and that the feeder operates as expected.
  • Avoid placing the feeder in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
  • The feeder features an anti-foot jamming function. Do not attempt to force the lid or obstruct its movement.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Auveach F19-L Automatic Pet Feeder:

  1. Install Ice Packs: If using wet food, place the two reusable ice packs into the designated slots in the base unit. Ensure they are properly seated.
  2. Place Food Bowl: Position the 6-compartment food bowl onto the base unit, aligning it with the central mechanism.
  3. Secure the Lid: Place the top lid onto the feeder. Ensure the lock tab on the lid is correctly aligned with the food tray to prevent pets from opening it. Press down firmly to secure.
  4. Install Batteries: Turn the feeder upside down. Open the battery compartment and insert 3 AA batteries, observing the correct polarity. Close the battery compartment securely.

5. Operating Instructions

The Auveach F19-L features an LED touch panel for easy programming.

5.1. Setting the Current Time (Clock)

  1. Switch 12/24-hour system: Press and hold the "+" and "-" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch between 24-hour and 12-hour display modes.
  2. Enter Clock Setting: Click the "SET" button to confirm that the time box is flashing. Then, press and hold the "SET" button to enter the clock setting mode.
  3. Adjust Time: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the hour. Press "SET" to confirm and move to minutes. Use "+" and "-" to set the minutes. Press "SET" again to save the current time.

5.2. Programming Feeding Schedules (1-6 Meals)

The feeder allows you to program up to 6 individual feeding times per day.

  1. Select Meal Plan: After setting the clock, press the "SET" button to move to the first meal feeding schedule (P1).
  2. Set Feeding Time: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired hour for the first meal. Press "SET" to confirm and move to minutes. Use "+" and "-" to set the minutes. Press "SET" again to save the time for P1.
  3. Repeat for Other Meals: The settings for the second to sixth meal feeding plans (P2-P6) are configured in the same way as the first one. Press "SET" to cycle through P2 to P6 and set their respective times.

5.3. Modifying or Canceling a Feeding Plan

  1. Select Plan to Modify: To modify the feeding time of a specific meal, press "+" or "-" to select the feeding schedule you wish to change.
  2. Adjust Time: Once the desired meal plan is selected, use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour and minutes as needed.
  3. Save Changes: After modification is complete, press and hold the "SET" button to save the changes.
  4. Cancel a Plan: To cancel a specific feeding plan, select it and set its feeding time to "00:00". This will disable that particular feeding event.

5.4. Manual Feeding

To manually dispense one portion of food:

  • Press and hold the "+" button. The feeder will rotate counter-clockwise, dispensing one portion of food.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your pet feeder. The Auveach F19-L is made from BPA-free, food-safe materials.

  1. Disassembly: Carefully remove the top lid and the food bowl from the base unit.
  2. Cleaning the Food Bowl and Lid: Both the top cover and the food tray can be easily removed for cleaning. They are dishwasher safe (80% of the parts can be put into the dishwasher). For manual cleaning, wash with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
  3. Cleaning the Base Unit: Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
  4. Ice Packs: Wash the ice packs with water and dry them before refreezing for reuse.
  5. Reassembly: Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling the feeder.
  6. Battery Replacement: When the battery indicator on the display shows low power, replace all 3 AA batteries with new ones.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Feeder not dispensing food:
    • Check if batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient power. Replace if necessary.
    • Ensure feeding times are programmed correctly and the current time is set accurately.
    • Verify that the food bowl is properly seated and not obstructed.
  • Lid not closing/opening properly:
    • Ensure the lid's lock tab is correctly aligned with the food tray during installation. Refer to the setup video for correct alignment.
    • Check for any food debris or foreign objects obstructing the lid's movement.
    • The feeder has an anti-foot jamming function. If a pet's paw is detected, the lid will stop and reverse.
  • Display not working or showing incorrect time:
    • Check battery power and replace if low.
    • If the issue persists, try removing and reinserting the batteries to reset the device. Then, reset the clock and feeding schedules.
  • Food not staying fresh:
    • Ensure ice packs are frozen solid before placement.
    • The effectiveness of ice packs depends on room temperature. In warmer environments, food may not stay fresh as long.
    • For raw bone meat, feed within 4-8 hours. For canned cat food, feed within 24 hours.
