• Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the appliance. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug. Keep the appliance away from water.
• Placement: Allow the unit to stand upright for 24 hours after receipt before use. Maintain a minimum distance of 6 inches (15 cm) between the unit (top, left, right, and back) and any cabinets or walls to allow for adequate heat dissipation. Place on a stable, flat surface.
• Usage: Do not add ice, solid, or hot ingredients directly into the tank. Avoid adding large, solid pieces of fruit. Ensure water temperature is below 60°C (140°F) for optimal results.
• Children: This appliance is not intended for use by children without supervision.
• Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Do not immerse the motor base in water.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Preparation

1. Upon receipt, allow the unit to stand upright for 24 hours before first use. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
2. Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
3. Clean the tank, auger, and drip tray parts with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and dry.

3.2 Assembly

1. Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate clearance (6 inches) around the unit.
2. Install the water catch and drip tray parts onto the motor base.
3. Insert the auger into the tank, ensuring it is properly seated.
4. Attach the tank to the motor base, securing it with the tank locking bar by rotating it into position.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Making a Slushie

1. Pour Liquid: Ensure the tank is clean and properly assembled. Pour your desired liquid (juice, soda, milk, etc.) into the tank. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
2. Select Mode: Plug in the machine. Use the control panel to select one of the 5 pre-set modes: Slush, Frappe, Milkshake, Cocktail Slush, or Frozen Juice.
3. Adjust Hardness (Optional): The machine offers 5 slush hardness settings. Adjust as desired for your preferred drink consistency.
4. Start Freezing: Press the Start/Pause button to begin the freezing process. The machine will typically take 15-45 minutes to produce slush, depending on the liquid and desired consistency.
5. Dispense: Once the slush is ready, use the dispenser handle to pour your frozen drink into a glass.

4.2 Pre-Set Modes

The FOHERE Slushie Machine features 5 one-touch programs, each optimized for specific drink consistencies:

5. Maintenance

5.1 Self-Cleaning Function

1. After use, empty any remaining liquid from the tank.
2. Fill the tank with clean water.
3. Hold the 'Mode' button for 3 seconds to activate the self-cleaning mode. All indicators will flash clockwise for 5 minutes.
4. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water.

5.2 Manual Cleaning

• Detachable components (tank, auger, drip tray parts) are dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning.
• Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
