Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Davivy Electric Pizza Oven.

  1. Always Unplug: Ensure the oven is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the finish.
  3. Pizza Stone Cleaning:
    • Allow the pizza stone to cool completely.
    • Scrape off any excess food residue using the provided scraper or a stiff brush.
    • For stubborn stains, you can use a damp cloth, but avoid soap as it can be absorbed by the porous stone and affect future food taste.
    • Do not immerse the hot pizza stone in cold water, as this can cause it to crack.
    • The pizza stone will naturally darken over time; this is normal and does not affect performance.
  4. Deep Dish Pan Cleaning: The deep dish pan can be washed with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  5. Heating Elements: Do not attempt to clean the heating elements directly. Any food residue on the elements will typically burn off during subsequent use.
  6. Storage: Store the clean and dry oven and its accessories in a cool, dry place.
