Setup
1. Connecting the Microphone
- Place the microphone on its desktop stand or mount it to a compatible boom arm.
- Connect the USB-C end of the provided cable to the USB-C port on the back of the microphone.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer (PC, laptop), PS4, or PS5 console.
- The microphone is plug-and-play and should be automatically recognized by your operating system.

2. Initial System Configuration
- For Windows: Go to Settings > System > Sound. Select "CMTECK Microphone" as your input device.
- For macOS: Go to System Settings > Sound > Input. Select "CMTECK Microphone" as your input device.
- For PS4/PS5: Navigate to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices. Select "CMTECK Microphone" as your input device.
Operating Instructions
1. Mute Function and Gain Control
- Mute Button: Press the top button on the microphone to mute/unmute. The RGB lighting will turn red when muted.
- Mic Gain Dial: Rotate the side dial to adjust the microphone's sensitivity (gain). Turn clockwise to increase sensitivity, counter-clockwise to decrease.

2. Dual Pickup Patterns
The microphone offers two polar patterns to suit different recording needs:
- Cardioid: Captures sound primarily from the front, reducing background noise from the sides and rear. Ideal for solo streaming, gaming, or podcasting.
- Omnidirectional: Captures sound equally from all directions. Suitable for group discussions, interviews, or recording ambient sounds.
Use the switch located on the back of the microphone to toggle between Cardioid and Omnidirectional modes.

Press the RGB button on the back of the microphone to cycle through the lighting modes or turn them off. Remember, the LED turns red when the microphone is muted.

5. Zero-Latency Headphone Monitoring
Connect your headphones to the 3.5mm jack on the back of the microphone to monitor your audio in real-time without any delay. This allows you to hear exactly what the microphone is capturing.
