2.2 Connecting the Hub

  1. Connect PWM Control Cable: Plug one end of the included PWM control cable into the hub's "PWM IN" port.
  2. Connect ARGB Data Cable: Plug one end of the included ARGB data cable into the hub's "ARGB IN" port.
  3. Connect SATA Power: Connect the SATA power cable to the hub's "POWER" port and to a SATA power connector from your power supply unit (PSU). This provides stable power to all connected fans and ARGB devices.
  4. Connect Fans to Hub:
    • For PWM speed control, plug the fan's PWM wire into the hub's white "FAN1" port. Other fan ports will synchronize with FAN1's speed.
    • Plug the ARGB wires from your fans or other ARGB devices into the hub's ARGB ports (ARGB 1-10). Ensure correct orientation to avoid damage.
  5. Connect Hub to Motherboard:
    • Plug the other end of the ARGB data cable into your motherboard's 5V 3-pin ARGB interface. Do not connect to a 12V 4-pin RGB header.
    • Plug the other end of the PWM control cable into your motherboard's CPU_FAN or a dedicated FAN interface.

5. Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions
IssuePossible CauseSolution
ARGB lights not working or incorrect colors.
  • Incorrect ARGB header connection (e.g., connected to 12V 4-pin RGB).
  • Loose ARGB data cable connection.
  • Remote control set to internal signal instead of motherboard sync.
  • Motherboard does not support 5V 3-pin ARGB.
  • Ensure the ARGB data cable is connected to a 5V 3-pin ARGB header on the motherboard. Do NOT connect to 12V 4-pin RGB.
  • Verify all ARGB cable connections are secure.
  • Use the remote control to switch to external signal mode for motherboard control.
  • Confirm your motherboard supports 5V 3-pin ARGB.
Fans not spinning or incorrect speed.
  • Loose PWM control cable connection.
  • SATA power cable not connected or loose.
  • Fan PWM wire not connected to the white "FAN1" port for speed reading.
  • Check that the PWM control cable is securely connected to the hub and the motherboard.
  • Ensure the SATA power cable is firmly connected to the hub and the PSU.
  • Verify the primary fan's PWM wire is connected to the white "FAN1" port on the hub.
Hub not powering on.
  • SATA power cable not connected or faulty.
  • PSU issue.
  • Ensure the SATA power cable is correctly and securely connected to the hub and a working SATA power connector from your PSU.
  • Test with a different SATA power connector or PSU if available.

Important Note: Please distinguish between the 5V 3-pin ARGB connector and the 12V 4-pin PWM connector. Before insertion, ensure the device plug aligns with the corresponding pins on the connector. Incorrect orientation may damage your ARGB device or the hub itself. For any questions, please contact our after-sales support team.
