1. Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

• All foam and upholstered surfaces meet flammability standards. Keep away from open flames or high heat sources.
• Supervise children and pets to avoid entrapment risks.
• Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe use of the electrical components (charging port).
• Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 300 pounds per seat.
• Ensure all bolts and connections are securely tightened before use. Periodically check and re-tighten as necessary.

2. Setup and Assembly

The COLAMY Modular Sectional Sofa is designed for straightforward assembly. All necessary tools are included. The sofa and ottoman set ships in 2 separate packages, which may arrive on different days. Please be patient and wait for all parts to arrive before beginning assembly.

2.1 Unpacking and Preparation

• Carefully open the boxes and remove all components.
• Identify all parts against the included parts list in your physical instruction manual.
• Remove the compression packaging from cushions. Allow at least 72 hours for cushions to fully rebound to their original shape.

2.2 Assembly Steps

Follow the detailed steps provided in the official product installation video for visual guidance.

1. Attach Backrests to Seat Frames: Stand a seat frame up on its side. Take one backrest and rip off the Velcro. Align the screw holes on the backrest and seat frame. Use four M8x45mm bolts and four flat washers to tighten with the Allen key. Repeat for all backrests.
2. Attach Armrests: Place the right armrest on the ground. Stand the assembled seat body onto the armrest and align the screw holes. Use four M8x45mm bolts and four flat washers to tighten with the Allen key. Repeat for the left armrest.
3. Install Legs: Stand the finished sofa frame up so that all screw holes at the bottom are exposed. Place one plastic spacer on each leg. Attach the legs to the sofa by tightening. Tip: Pay attention to adjusting the orientation of the legs to make them symmetrical.
4. Connect Seat Bodies: Connect each finished seat body side by side using six M8x40mm bolts, six nuts, and twelve flat washers. Tighten to 50% with the open wrench, then fully tighten to 100%.
5. Attach Footrest Legs: Attach four legs with plastic spacers to each footrest frame by tightening.
6. Place Cushions: Place the seat cushions on the seats and use the Velcro to secure them. Place the footstool cushions on the footrests and secure them with Velcro. Place the back cushions on the backrests and secure them with Velcro.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Modular Configuration

The modular design allows for flexible arrangement to suit your living space. You can configure the sofa into a U-shape, L-shape, or even a sleeper sofa bed by rearranging the individual modules and ottomans.

3.2 Foldable Side Table and Charging Port

The sofa includes a convenient foldable side table and a built-in charging port.

• Foldable Side Table: To use, simply lift the wing table straight up. It provides a surface for drinks, books, or a laptop.
• Built-in Charging Port: Connect the charging port cable to a power source. This allows you to power your devices directly from the sofa.

3.3 Multi-function Ottomans

The two included ottomans are versatile and can be used as:

• Extra seating for guests.
• Leg support for lounging.
• Small tables for books or snacks.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Fabric Care

The sofa is upholstered in soft cotton chenille fabric. The cushion covers are removable for cleaning.

• To clean, unzip and remove the cushion covers.
• Follow the care instructions on the fabric label for washing. Typically, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low, or air dry.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the fabric.
• Regularly vacuum the sofa to remove dust and debris.

4.2 Frame and Legs

• Wipe the wooden legs and frame with a soft, damp cloth.
• Avoid excessive moisture.
• Periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if any looseness is detected.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your COLAMY Modular Sectional Sofa, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Cushions not fully expanded: Allow up to 72 hours for vacuum-compressed cushions to fully rebound after unpacking. Gently fluffing them can help accelerate the process.
• Wobbly components: Ensure all bolts connecting the seat frames, backrests, and armrests are securely tightened using the provided Allen key. Check the legs for tightness as well.
• Charging port not working: Verify that the charging port cable is properly connected to a functional power outlet. Check for any kinks or damage to the cable.
• Difficulty with modular connections: Ensure the seat bodies are correctly aligned before attempting to connect them. Refer to the assembly video for proper alignment techniques.
