1. Product Overview

The Lamicall 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger is designed to securely hold and wirelessly charge your compatible smartphone in your vehicle. It offers versatile installation options for both air vents and dashboards, featuring strong magnetic attachment and 15W fast charging capabilities.

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Assembling the Mount

1. Unscrew the collar from the main magnetic charging pad.
2. Place the collar over the ball joint of your chosen attachment (air vent clip or dashboard base).
3. Push the ball joint firmly into the socket on the back of the magnetic charging pad.
4. Screw the collar back onto the magnetic charging pad until it is securely tightened, locking the ball joint in place.

3.2 Air Vent Installation

1. Ensure the air vent clip is attached to the magnetic charging pad as described in Section 3.1.
2. Unscrew the locking ring on the air vent clip to extend the hook.
3. Insert the hook into one of your car's air vent slats.
4. Tighten the locking ring until the clip is firmly secured to the vent. Ensure it is stable and does not wobble.
5. Note: This mount is not compatible with round air vent holes.

3.3 Dashboard Installation

1. Ensure the dashboard adhesive base is attached to the magnetic charging pad as described in Section 3.1.
2. Select a smooth, flat surface on your dashboard for installation. Avoid textured or curved surfaces.
3. Clean the chosen surface thoroughly with the provided alcohol prep pad and allow it to dry completely.
4. Peel off the protective film from the 3M nano adhesive on the base.
5. Press the adhesive base firmly onto the dashboard surface for at least 30 seconds.
6. Important: Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully bond before attaching your phone to ensure maximum adhesion and stability.

3.4 Connecting Power

1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the port on the magnetic charging pad.
2. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a compatible car charger adapter (not included) or a USB port in your vehicle.
3. Caution: Do not use a low-power USB-A port in the car to charge, as this will affect wireless charging efficiency. Use a car charger adapter that supports 15W output for optimal performance.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Attaching Your Phone

• For MagSafe-compatible phones (iPhone 12/13/14/15/16/17 series and newer), simply place the back of your phone onto the magnetic charging pad. The strong N55 magnets will securely hold your device.
• For non-MagSafe compatible phones or cases, use the provided magnetic ring. Clean the back of your phone/case, peel off the adhesive backing from the magnetic ring, and center it on your phone/case. Then, attach your phone to the magnetic charging pad.
• The mount features 20X upgraded strong N55 magnets, providing 1,600g of holding power to keep your phone secure even on bumpy roads.

4.2 Wireless Charging

• Once your phone is attached and the mount is powered, wireless charging will begin automatically. The mount provides 15W fast wireless charging for compatible devices.
• A cool blue light on the charger guides phone placement at night and indicates charging status.

4.3 Adjusting Viewing Angle

• The ball joint allows for 360° rotation, enabling you to adjust your phone to any desired viewing angle (portrait or landscape).

6. Troubleshooting

• Phone not charging: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mount and a compatible power source (15W recommended). Avoid low-power USB-A ports. Check if your phone or case is MagSafe compatible or if the magnetic ring is correctly applied.
• Mount is unstable: For air vent installation, ensure the locking ring is fully tightened and the hook is properly engaged with a vent slat. For dashboard installation, verify the surface was clean and dry before application, and allow 24 hours for adhesive bonding. Avoid rough or uneven surfaces.
• Overheating: The Lamicall charger features an intelligent temperature control chip and heat dissipation metal plate for safe charging. If excessive heat is detected, charging may temporarily pause to protect the device. Ensure proper airflow around the charger.
• Incompatible vents: Round air vent holes are not compatible with the air vent clip attachment.
