3. Assembly Instructions
Assembly requires two adults. Follow the steps carefully. A detailed manual with diagrams is included in your package.
3.1 Unpacking and Preparation
- Clear a spacious area for assembly.
- Unpack all boxes and lay out components on a soft surface to prevent damage.
- Identify all parts against the package contents list.
3.2 Frame Assembly
- Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten yet.
- Install the center support beam and its legs. Adjust the leg height to ensure even support.
- For King size beds, two twin-sized platform bases are combined. Assemble each twin base frame separately following the instructions.

3.3 Hydraulic Lift Mechanism and Slat Installation
- Carefully attach the hydraulic lift mechanisms to the bed frame according to the detailed manual. Pay close attention to the orientation.
- Install the bed slats onto the frame. Ensure they are evenly spaced and securely fastened.
- Once all components are in place, fully tighten all screws and bolts.

4. Operating the Hydraulic Storage System
The bed features a hydraulic lift mechanism for easy access to under-bed storage. Always operate with care.
4.1 Lifting the Bed Frame
- Remove any heavy items from the mattress surface.
- Stand at the foot or side of the bed.
- Firmly grasp the lifting handle or edge of the bed frame.
- With a steady motion, lift the bed frame upwards. The hydraulic pistons will assist in raising and holding the frame in the open position.
- Ensure the frame is fully extended and stable before accessing the storage area.

4.2 Lowering the Bed Frame
- Ensure no obstructions are in the storage area that could prevent the frame from closing completely.
- Grasp the lifting handle or edge of the bed frame.
- Gently pull the frame downwards. You may need to apply some downward pressure to overcome the hydraulic resistance.
- Lower the frame slowly and evenly until it rests securely on the bed base.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps prolong the life of your bed.
5.1 Cleaning
- Upholstery: For general cleaning, vacuum the fabric regularly using an upholstery attachment. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, consult a professional upholstery cleaner or use a mild fabric cleaner suitable for linen, testing on an inconspicuous area first.
- Frame: Wipe the bed frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
5.2 Hardware Check
- Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary to maintain stability.
5.3 Hydraulic System
