Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AWithZ UF20B Spot Welder, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the welding pens and the main unit to remove any metal dust or debris. Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn residue on welding tips, use the provided sandpaper or a fine abrasive.
  • Heat Dissipation: The unit features a unique heat dissipation design. Ensure that the ventilation openings are not obstructed during operation to prevent overheating.
  • Storage: Store the spot welder in a clean, dry environment away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cable, welding pens, and foot pedal for any signs of wear or damage. Replace any damaged components immediately.

Troubleshooting

The AWithZ UF20B Spot Welder is designed for reliable operation. If you encounter any issues, consider the following:

  • No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the welder and a functional power outlet. Check the power button.
  • Weak Welds: Adjust the welding power (Gear level) to a higher setting. Ensure the welding tips are clean and have good contact with the material. Verify the material thickness is within the supported range.
  • Overheating Alarm: The unit has real-time temperature display and an automatic alarm/shutdown function for deviations. If an alarm sounds, allow the unit to cool down. Ensure ventilation is not blocked.
  • Inconsistent Welds: Check for proper contact of the welding pens. Ensure the material surfaces are clean and free of oxidation. Adjust preheating and intermittent settings if necessary.
