Drainage Options
Your dehumidifier offers two methods for water removal:

Figure 6: The dehumidifier showing its 1.3-gallon water tank and the connection for the continuous drain hose, highlighting overflow protection.
1. Manual Drainage (Water Tank):
- The unit is equipped with a 1.3-gallon (5.5-liter) water tank.
- When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will beep and automatically shut off to prevent overflow.
- Carefully remove the water tank, empty the collected water, and reinsert it correctly. The unit will resume operation.
2. Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose):
- For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, attach the included 3.9 ft drain hose.
- Insert the hose into the drainage hole at the bottom of the water tank compartment.
- Ensure the hose is directed downwards to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink) to allow gravity to facilitate water flow.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.
Cleaning the Air Filter:
- The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
- Remove the filter from the back or side of the unit (refer to diagram in full manual for exact location).
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling.
- Do not operate the dehumidifier without the filter.
Cleaning the Unit Exterior:

- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or solvents.
Storage:
- If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and clean.
