1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your ASURE 13.1" Android 14 Car Stereo. This advanced infotainment system is designed to enhance your driving experience with its high-resolution QLED touchscreen, powerful Octa-Core processor, and seamless connectivity features like wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.

2. Vehicle Compatibility

This ASURE 13.1" Android 14 Car Stereo is compatible with a wide range of Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles. Please verify your vehicle's make, model, and year against the list below to ensure proper fitment.

• Chrysler: 300C (2008-2010), Aspen (2007-2010), Sebring (2007-2010)
• Dodge: Avenger (2009-2011), Caliber (2009-2011), Challenger (2009-2011), Dakota (2009-2011), Durango (2009-2011), Journey (2009-2011), Ram (2009-2012)
• Jeep: Commander (2008-2011), Compass (2009-2011), Grand Cherokee (2008-2011), Liberty (2008-2011), Patriot (2009-2011), Wrangler (2007-2017)

Note: If your factory radio is one of the types shown in Figure 2.1, this Android radio is not compatible with your car.

5. Setup & Installation

Professional installation is recommended. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before beginning installation.

5.1. Screen Installation

The screen offers adjustable installation positions. Determine the desired height (higher or lower) before fixing the screen to the adapter frame. The distance between the top and bottom installation positions is 25mm.

1. Choose the desired screen installation position.
2. Install your dedicated vehicle adapter frame onto the screen base.
3. Fix the screen and the adapter frame together using the four provided screws.
4. If using a 10.1" dedicated frame, first install the screen base, then the 9" to 10.1" frame adapter, and finally the 10.1" dedicated adapter frame.

5.2. Wiring Connections

Connect the provided wiring harness kit to your vehicle's existing wiring. Ensure all connections are secure. The kit includes specific harnesses for direct plug-and-play compatibility with many Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler models.

5.3. Backup Camera Installation

The included HD backup camera provides clear reverse vision. Follow these steps for installation:

1. Mount the camera in a suitable location on the rear of your vehicle, typically near the license plate or spare tire.
2. Connect the black power plug to the red socket on the camera's wiring.
3. Connect the negative wire to your car's reversing lamp power negative terminal.
4. Connect the two red wires to your car's reversing lamp power positive terminal.
5. Connect the RCA female to the RCA male, and the RCA male to the RCA female.
6. Connect the trigger wire to your head unit's "REVERSE" wire of the reversing camera input trigger. (Note: This step may not be necessary if your radio comes with a CAN-BUS box/decoder).
7. Connect to your radio's rear 10-Pin socket.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect your iPhone or Android device wirelessly to access navigation, make hands-free calls, send messages, and enjoy music. Use voice commands via Siri or Google Assistant for safe operation.

6.2. Navigation

Utilize the built-in GPS with support for various online and offline navigation applications. The large 13.1-inch display provides clear map views.

6.3. Audio Settings (DSP)

The unit features a Digital Sound Processor (DSP) for enhanced audio quality. Access the equalizer and sound settings through the system menu to customize your audio experience.

7. Maintenance

• Screen Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the touchscreen. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with a screen cleaner designed for electronics. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Software Updates: Periodically check for software updates to ensure optimal performance and access to the latest features. Updates can typically be found in the system settings or on the ASURE support website.
• General Care: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or excessive moisture. Ensure all cables are securely connected and not pinched.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Check all power connections and ensure the vehicle's battery is properly connected. Verify the fuse for the stereo is intact.
• No Sound: Check speaker connections. Ensure the volume is not muted or set too low. Verify audio settings in the system menu.
• Touchscreen Unresponsive: Restart the unit. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset (refer to system settings for this option).
• CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both the stereo and your smartphone. Forget and re-pair the device. Check for software updates on both devices.
• Backup Camera Not Displaying: Verify all camera wiring connections, especially the power and trigger wires. Ensure the camera is receiving power when the vehicle is in reverse.
• Lagging Performance: Close unnecessary background applications. Clear system cache if available in settings. Ensure sufficient storage space is available.
