Setup
Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the device. The device is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery is included and pre-installed. Use the included charging/data cable to connect your Approach S44 to a USB power source.

Powering On/Off
To power on the device, press and hold the top button on the side of the watch. To power off, press and hold the top button until the power options appear, then select 'Power Off'.
Pairing with Your Smartphone
To utilize smart notifications and advanced stat tracking, pair your Approach S44 with the Garmin Golf™ smartphone app. Download the app from your device's app store and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process via Bluetooth.

Operating Instructions
Playing Golf
The Approach S44 automatically detects your location and displays course information. The bright AMOLED display makes it easy to view yardages to the front, middle, and back of the green, as well as hazards and doglegs.

PinPointer Feature
Use the PinPointer feature to get a directional arrow to the center of the green, even if you can't see it. This helps in lining up your shot accurately.

Scoring and Stat Tracking
Keep score directly from your watch. After each hole, you can input your strokes and putts. This data is automatically uploaded to the Garmin Golf app for detailed stat tracking, including fairways hit, greens in regulation, and handicap calculation.
