4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Placement

Place the router in a central location in your home, away from obstructions and sources of interference such as microwaves or cordless phones. For optimal mesh performance, ensure clear line of sight between multiple units if using a multi-pack system.

4.2 Connecting the Router

1. Connect one end of the provided network cable to the WAN port (usually labeled differently or colored) on your BE3600 router.
2. Connect the other end of the network cable to your modem's LAN port.
3. Connect the power adapter to the router's power input and then plug it into a power outlet.
4. Wait for the router's indicator light to turn solid blue, indicating it has successfully booted up and established an internet connection. This may take a few minutes.

4.3 Connecting Devices to Wi-Fi

Once the router is set up, you can connect your devices:

• Locate the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password printed on the label at the bottom of your router.
• On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to Wi-Fi settings.
• Select the SSID of your router from the list of available networks.
• Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
• Your device should now be connected to the internet.
