4. Setup

  • Place the charging base against a wall in an open, uncluttered area.
  • Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on either side of the charging base and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front.
  • Plug the power adapter into the charging base and then into a wall outlet.

4.3 Initial Charging

5. Operating the Robot Vacuum

5.1 Cleaning Modes

The Lefant M210 offers six cleaning modes to suit various needs:

  • Zigzag Mode: Cleans in a systematic back-and-forth pattern. Note: Do not use Zigzag mode on carpet.
  • Random Mode: Cleans randomly until the battery is low or the area is covered.
  • Spot Mode: Concentrates cleaning on a specific dirty area.
  • Edge Mode: Cleans along the perimeter of rooms.
  • Schedule Timed Mode: Allows you to set specific cleaning times via the Lefant App.
  • Manual Control: Direct the robot's movement using the remote control or app.

5.2 Starting a Cleaning Cycle

  • Using the Robot Button: Press the power button on the robot once to start automatic cleaning. Press again to pause.
  • Using the Remote Control: Press the START/PAUSE button on the remote. Select desired cleaning mode.
  • Using the Lefant App: Open the app, select your device, and choose a cleaning mode or schedule.

5.3 Returning to Charging Base

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your robot vacuum.

6.1 Emptying the Dustbin

  • Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
  • Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash can.
  • Rinse the dustbin with water if necessary (ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation).

6.2 Cleaning the Filter

  • Remove the filter from the dustbin.
  • Tap the filter against a trash can to remove dust and debris.
  • Do not wash the high-efficiency filter with water. Replace it every 2-3 months, or as needed.

6.3 Cleaning Side Brushes

  • Remove the side brushes by gently pulling them off.
  • Remove any hair or debris wrapped around the brushes.
  • Reinstall the brushes, ensuring they click into place. Replace if worn or damaged.
