1. Product Overview

The EWEADN X87 is a versatile 75% layout wireless mechanical keyboard designed for both gaming and office use. It features a five-layer gasket structure, hot-swappable switches, and multiple connectivity options to provide a premium typing experience.

Connecting Your Keyboard:

The X87 keyboard supports three connection modes: Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired. It is compatible with PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, PlayStation, and Xbox.

1. USB-C Wired Mode:
   Switch the mode selector on the keyboard to "LINE". Connect the provided USB-C cable from the keyboard to your device. The keyboard will be recognized automatically.
2. 2.4GHz Wireless Mode:
   Switch the mode selector on the keyboard to "2.4G". Plug the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your device. The keyboard should connect automatically. If not, press FN + R to initiate pairing.
3. Bluetooth 5.0 Mode (BT1/BT2/BT3):
   Switch the mode selector on the keyboard to "BT". The keyboard supports up to three Bluetooth devices. To pair, press and hold FN + Q (for BT1), FN + W (for BT2), or FN + E (for BT3) until the indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode. On your device, search for "EWEADN X87" in Bluetooth settings and connect. To switch between paired Bluetooth devices, press FN + Q/W/E briefly.

Macro Customization and N-Key Rollover:

All keys support macro-customization, allowing users to record and edit macros and customize key functions. The N-key rollover feature ensures that all simultaneous key presses are registered, which is beneficial for gaming and complex hotkey usage.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning:

To clean your keyboard, gently wipe the keycaps and chassis with a soft, damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be removed using a keycap puller (not included) and cleaned separately. Ensure the keyboard is powered off and disconnected before cleaning.

Switch Replacement:

Due to the hot-swappable design, individual switches can be replaced without soldering. Use a switch puller (not included) to carefully remove the existing switch. Align the pins of the new 3-pin or 5-pin switch with the sockets on the PCB and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the pins are not bent during insertion.

Connectivity Issues:

• Wired Connection: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the device, and the keyboard mode is set to "LINE".
• 2.4GHz Wireless: Verify the 2.4GHz receiver is properly plugged into a USB port. Ensure the keyboard mode is set to "2.4G" and try pressing FN + R to re-pair.
• Bluetooth Connection: Check that the keyboard mode is set to "BT" and that Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Ensure the correct Bluetooth channel (BT1, BT2, or BT3) is selected by pressing FN + Q/W/E. If issues persist, try unpairing and re-pairing the keyboard.

Battery Not Charging/Low Battery Life:

• Ensure the USB-C cable and charging port are clean and undamaged.
• Try using a different USB port or power adapter.
• Reduce RGB brightness or turn off backlighting to extend battery life.
