Setup

Setting up your Xvive More You HUB is designed to be straightforward, allowing you to quickly integrate it into your audio production environment.

Connecting the More You System:

The More You system is built for scalability. You can start with a single HUB and add additional units as your needs grow. Each musician or singer can have their own More You HUB or 2X unit, perfect for connecting a vocal microphone and an instrument.

Figure 2: The More Port allows seamless connection between the HUB and expansion units using a single XLR cable for audio, power, and talkback.

The unique MORE PORT connects all units with a single XLR cable, transferring audio input, 18-channel discrete headphone mix, power, and talkback between units. This simplifies complex setups and reduces cable clutter.

Initial Connection:

  1. Connect your Xvive More You HUB to your computer via the provided USB-C cable. This connection streams audio directly to your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
  2. For studio monitoring, connect your studio monitors to the HUB's TRS monitor outputs.
  3. Plug in your microphones or instruments into the XLR/TRS combo inputs.
  4. If using expansion units, connect them via the MORE PORT XLR cables.

Musicians can hear their direct signal with zero latency in the More You Live Mix. Each input has its own dedicated monitoring control, offering ultimate flexibility. You can also instantly select any channel to monitor post-DAW, such as a guitar amp plugin or vocal effect.

DAW Integration:

When connected to your computer via USB-C, the More You HUB streams audio directly to your DAW, allowing you to record all inputs. A dedicated button allows you to switch between the DAW mix and the More You Live Mix. This enables engineers to work on the mix in studio monitors or solo channels in the DAW without affecting what the musicians hear.

Talkback System:

The built-in talkback system facilitates instant communication between musicians. No more shouting across the room or removing headphones to speak with band members.

Auto-Gain Feature:

The More You HUB features an advanced auto-gain system. Whether you need to auto-gain on individual channels or across the entire system, it simplifies the process with the touch of a button.

Connectivity

The More You HUB offers extensive input/output options to support diverse recording and performance needs.
