1.2 Strobe Mode Warning

3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Flashlight
- Locate the micro-USB charging port on the flashlight.
- Connect the provided micro-USB cable to the flashlight's charging port.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., power bank, car charger, computer USB port, or wall adapter).
- Allow the flashlight to charge until the charging indicator (if present) shows a full charge. Charging time may vary depending on the power source and battery depletion level.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.
The flashlight uses a non-removable 18650 Lithium-Ion battery. No additional batteries are required.
4. Operating Instructions
4.2 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The Energizer VMHAL8 flashlight features three lighting modes: High, Low, and Strobe. To operate the flashlight:
- Power On: Press the power button once to turn the flashlight ON. It will typically start in High mode.
- Cycle Modes: Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the available modes: High → Low → Strobe.
- Power Off: After cycling through all modes, the next press of the power button will turn the flashlight OFF.
High Mode: Provides maximum brightness (300 lumens) for powerful illumination.
Low Mode: Offers reduced brightness (130 lumens) for extended runtime and less intense lighting.
Strobe Mode: Emits a flashing light for signaling or emergency situations.

5. Maintenance

6. Troubleshooting
- Flashlight not turning on:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the flashlight to a USB power source and allow it to charge.
- Press the power button firmly.
- Flashlight not charging:
- Check the micro-USB cable for damage and ensure it is securely connected to both the flashlight and the power source.
- Try a different USB power source or charging cable.
- Light output is dim:
- The battery may be low. Recharge the flashlight.
- Ensure the flashlight is not in Low mode. Cycle through modes to High mode.
