4. Setup Guide
4.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge your Microblast speaker. The speaker comes with a built-in 2000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery.
- Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the DC5V charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The LED indicator will show charging status (specific indicator behavior may vary, refer to quick start guide if provided).
- A full charge provides up to 5 hours of continuous playback.
4.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the RGB lights illuminate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button again for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the lights turn off.
4.3 Bluetooth Pairing
The Microblast speaker uses Bluetooth 5.3 for stable and fast connections.

- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing LED or audible prompt). If not, press the Mode Button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Portronics Microblast" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicator will become solid.
- The speaker will automatically connect to the last paired device when powered on, if within range.
4.4 Other Connectivity Options
The speaker supports multiple input sources:
- AUX-IN Mode: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX Audio Input port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode or can be selected using the Mode Button.
- USB Drive Mode: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port. The speaker will automatically detect and play audio files from the drive.
- TF Card Mode: Insert a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF Card slot. The speaker will automatically detect and play audio files from the card.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Audio Playback Control
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause Button to start or pause playback.
- Next Track: Short press the Volume Up/Next Track Button.
- Previous Track: Short press the Volume Down/Previous Track Button.
5.2 Volume Adjustment

- Decrease Volume: Press and hold the Volume Down/Previous Track Button.

5.4 Bass Boost Technology
