Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator lights will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.
2. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to turn the speaker on or off. You will hear an audible prompt.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the X10 MAX speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing light.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "OHAYO X10 MAX" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the light indicator will become solid.
4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To pair two X10 MAX speakers for stereo sound:
- Ensure both X10 MAX speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the TWS button (often indicated by a chain link icon). The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
- The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation tone once TWS pairing is successful.
- Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.
Operating Instructions
1. Basic Controls
- Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
- Play/Pause Button: Press once to play or pause music.
- Volume Up (+): Press to increase volume. Press and hold to skip to the next track.
- Volume Down (-): Press to decrease volume. Press and hold to go to the previous track.
- Bass Boost Button: Press to activate or deactivate the Extra Bass mode.
- Light Mode Button: Press to cycle through different light effects. Press and hold to turn lights on/off.
2. Input Modes
The X10 MAX supports four input modes:
- Bluetooth Mode: Default mode after powering on. Connect wirelessly to your device.
- AUX-IN Mode: Connect an audio device using the provided 3.5mm AUX cable. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
- TF Card Mode: Insert a TF (microSD) card with audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically play music from the card.
- USB Audio Mode: Connect the speaker to a computer or other USB audio source using the USB-C cable. The speaker will function as an external audio output device. This mode also supports charging while in use.
3. Hands-Free Calling
When connected via Bluetooth, you can use the speaker for hands-free calls:
- Answer/End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the Play/Pause button.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Waterproofing: The speaker is IPX7 waterproof. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water. Do not intentionally submerge the speaker for extended periods or in water deeper than 1 meter.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for a long period, charge the battery every 3 months to maintain its lifespan.
- Battery Care: Avoid fully draining the battery frequently. Charge the speaker when the low battery indicator appears.
