4. Setup and Installation
The Tieasy Island Range Hood is designed for ceiling mount installation and can be configured for both ducted and ductless ventilation. It is suitable for ceilings ranging from 7.5 feet to 10 feet in height.
4.1 Ducted vs. Ductless Installation
This range hood offers dual-mode mastery, allowing seamless conversion between ducted and ductless operation.
- Ducted Ventilation: For optimal performance, exhaust air is vented outside through the included 6.5ft aluminum exhaust pipe. This method provides the most effective removal of smoke and odors.
- Ductless Ventilation: If external venting is not possible, the hood can be converted to ductless recirculation. This requires the separate purchase of carbon filters (Part# USGDCF-G), which filter the air before recirculating it back into the kitchen.

4.2 Mounting Considerations
The hood dimensions are approximately 29.3"L x 23.6"W x 53.7"H. Ensure adequate clearance above your cooking surface and proper structural support in the ceiling for secure mounting. Step-by-step instructions are provided in the included manual for quick and frustration-free setup.
5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Gesture and Touch Control
