4. Setup and Installation

The darkFlash L280 case is designed for ease of assembly. Follow these steps for a smooth build process.

4.1 Preparing the Case

The side and top panels feature a snap-on design for easy removal. Gently pull to detach them, providing full access to the interior for component installation.

4.2 Motherboard Installation

The L280 supports ATX, M-ATX, and ITX motherboards. Install your motherboard onto the pre-installed standoffs. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.

4.3 Fan and Radiator Installation

The case comes with 4 pre-installed 120mm PWM ARGB fans. Additional fan and radiator mounting points are available:

  • Top: Supports up to 360mm radiator or 3x 120mm fans.

4.4 Graphics Card (GPU) Installation

4.8 Connecting Front I/O and Digital Display

Connect the front I/O panel cables (USB, HD Audio, Power, Reset, LED) to their respective headers on your motherboard. The digital display for CPU/GPU monitoring connects via a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard.

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button on the front I/O panel to turn your system on or off.

Utilize the front panel USB ports (Type-C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0) for connecting peripherals and the HD Audio ports for headphones and microphones.

5.3 Digital Display Monitoring

The integrated digital display provides real-time CPU and GPU temperature and usage information. Ensure the display is correctly connected to a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard. 5.4 ARGB Fan Control

The pre-installed ARGB fans can be controlled via your motherboard's ARGB software if connected to a compatible header. Note that an RGB Hub Controller is not included with the case.
