This pendant light features a matte black finish and a polyester fabric drum shade, designed to complement various interior decors. It is suitable for dry locations and can be installed on vaulted ceilings.
2. Safety Information

5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to install your pendant light. It is recommended to have two people for installation.

- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the junction box where you will install the fixture.
- Prepare Mounting Plate: Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the screws provided. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Assemble Downrods: Determine the desired hanging height. The fixture includes three 16-inch downrods. You can use one, two, or all three to achieve the desired length. Thread the wires through the downrods as you assemble them.
- Connect Wires: Carefully connect the fixture's wires to the house wires:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box (usually bare copper or green).
- Attach Fixture: Carefully lift the fixture and attach it to the mounting plate, securing it with the provided screws or nuts. Ensure no wires are pinched.
- Install Bulbs: Insert four candelabra (E12) base bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed 40 watts per bulb.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box and test the light fixture.

6. Operating Instructions
Once installed, operate the pendant light using a standard wall switch. This fixture is compatible with dimmer switches, allowing you to adjust the light intensity. Ensure that any dimmer switch used is compatible with the type of bulbs installed (e.g., LED dimmers for LED bulbs).
- Bulb Type: Requires 4x Candelabra (E12) base bulbs.
- Maximum Wattage: 40 watts per bulb, 160 watts total.
- Dimming: Fully dimmable with compatible dimmer switches and bulbs.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your fixture.
- Cleaning: Turn off power before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or fabric shade.
- Bulb Replacement: Turn off power before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely before touching. Unscrew old bulbs and screw in new ones of the correct type and wattage.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your pendant light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Light Does Not Turn On:
- Check that the power is on at the circuit breaker.
- Ensure bulbs are securely screwed into sockets and are not burnt out.
- Verify all wire connections are secure and correct.
- Light Flickers:
- Ensure bulbs are fully tightened.
- If using a dimmer, confirm it is compatible with the installed bulbs.
- Check for loose wire connections.
- Buzzing Sound:
- This can sometimes occur with certain dimmer switches or LED bulbs. Try different bulbs or a different dimmer.
