Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher.

  1. First, unscrew the fuel cap.

3.3. Connect Battery Cable

4. Operating the Generator

  9. Screw the oil dipstick back in and reattach the side cover.

Clean the air filter element every 50 hours or more frequently in dusty conditions.

  1. Unscrew the bolts on the side cover and open the cover.
  2. Remove the air cleaner cover.
  3. Take out the air filter element.
  4. Wash the element in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to dry completely. Alternatively, you can tap it gently to remove loose dirt.
  5. Apply a few drops of engine oil to the element and squeeze out any excess.
  6. Put the element back into the air filter.
  7. Cover it back and put the side cover back, then tighten the bolts.
