Operating Instructions
Brewing Coffee
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the top lid of the coffee maker and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to your desired level, up to the 14-cup maximum. The clear water level indicator on the side of the unit will help you measure the amount.
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place the reusable filter securely into the brew basket. Add your preferred amount of ground coffee to the filter. A general guideline is approximately 1 tablespoon of ground coffee per cup, but adjust to your taste.
- Place Carafe: Ensure the glass carafe is properly seated and centered on the warming plate beneath the brew basket.
- Select Brew Strength (Optional): Use the control panel to select either "Normal" or "Bold" brew strength, depending on your preference for a lighter or stronger coffee.
- Start Brewing: Press the "Brew" button to initiate the brewing cycle. The coffee maker will begin to heat water and dispense it over the coffee grounds.
- Auto Pause Feature: The coffee maker is equipped with an auto-pause function. This allows you to temporarily remove the carafe to pour a cup of coffee before the entire brewing cycle is complete. Ensure you replace the carafe within 30 seconds to prevent the brew basket from overflowing.

The coffee pot is designed to brew up to 14 cups, suitable for various needs.

The 30-second anti-drip function allows for pouring a cup mid-brew.
Programming the Timer
The 24-hour programmable timer allows you to set the coffee maker to automatically start brewing at a specific time, so your coffee is ready when you need it.
- Set Current Time: Use the "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons on the control panel to set the current time.
- Set Program Time: Press the "PROG" button. The display will show "PROG". Use the "HOUR" and "MIN" buttons to set your desired brew start time.
- Activate Program: Press the "PROG" button again to confirm the setting. The program indicator light on the display will illuminate, indicating that the timer is active.

The coffee maker features a 24-hour programmable timer for convenience.
Keep Warm Function
After brewing, the coffee maker automatically keeps your coffee warm on the heating plate. You can customize the warming temperature and duration.
- Adjust Warm Temperature: Press the "WARM TEMP" button to cycle through the three customizable warming temperature settings: 158°F-167°F, 167°F-176°F, and >=176°F.
- Adjust Warm Time: Press the "WARM TIME" button to set the desired keep-warm duration, from 1 to 4 hours.

The coffee maker's warming plate ensures your coffee stays hot for up to 2 hours.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee maker.
Daily Cleaning
- Unplug: Always unplug the coffee maker from the power outlet before beginning any cleaning.
- Discard Grounds: Remove the reusable filter from the brew basket and discard any used coffee grounds.
- Wash Components: Wash the glass carafe, its lid, and the reusable filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse them thoroughly. These parts are also dishwasher safe; placing them on the top rack is recommended.
- Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
Descaling (Cleaning Reminder)
The coffee maker features an automatic cleaning reminder that will illuminate after approximately 90 uses. This indicates that the unit needs descaling to remove mineral buildup and maintain brewing efficiency.
- Prepare Descaling Solution: Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and water. A common ratio is 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water.
- Run Cleaning Cycle: Place the empty carafe securely on the warming plate. Press the "CLEAN" button on the control panel to start the descaling cycle.
- Rinse Cycles: After the descaling cycle is complete, discard the vinegar solution from the carafe. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, clean water and run 2-3 full brew cycles with only water to thoroughly rinse any remaining vinegar residue from the internal components.
