4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Battery Installation

The reflex sight requires a battery (not included) for operation. The battery compartment is located on the side of the sight. Use the appropriate tool to open the compartment, insert the battery with the correct polarity, and securely close the cover.

4.2 Mounting the Reflex Sight

The FOCUHUNTER Reflex Sight is compatible with RMR footprint mounts or the included 21mm Picatinny base.

4.2.1 Picatinny Base Installation

  1. Align the reflex sight with the 21mm Picatinny base.
  2. Secure the reflex sight to the Picatinny base using the provided mounting screws and hex key wrench.
  3. Attach the assembled sight and base to your firearm's Picatinny rail. Ensure it is seated correctly and tighten the mounting screws firmly.

4.2.2 Camera Hot Shoe Mount Installation (Optional)

An optional camera hot shoe adapter mount may be included for specific applications, such as photography or videography setups.

  1. Slide the plate of the hot shoe adapter into the camera's hot shoe slot.
  2. Tighten the locking ring on the adapter to secure it to the camera.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Brightness Adjustment

The reflex sight features two control buttons, typically marked with an upward triangle (▲) and a downward triangle (▼).

  • Power On: Press the ▲ button once to switch the sight on.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the ▼ button for 3 seconds to switch the sight off.
  • Brightness Adjustment:
    • Press the ▲ button to increase the reticle brightness.
    • Press the ▼ button to decrease the reticle brightness.

5.2 Reticle Selection

The sight offers three distinct reticle styles: Dot, Circle, and Circle/Dot. To switch between reticle styles, press the ▲ button once while the sight is already on. Each press will cycle through the available reticle patterns.

5.3 Windage and Elevation Adjustment

Adjustments for windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) are made using the adjustment dials located on the sight. These adjustments have a total range of 90 MOA, with 45 MOA in each direction, and a click value of 1 MOA per click. Use the provided slotted adjustment wrench for precise adjustments.

  • Elevation Adjustment: Turn the elevation dial (typically marked "UP" or with an arrow pointing up) to adjust the vertical position of the reticle.
  • Windage Adjustment: Turn the windage dial (typically marked "R" or with an arrow pointing right) to adjust the horizontal position of the reticle.

5.4 Motion Awake Function

The FOCUHUNTER Reflex Sight is equipped with a Motion Awake function to conserve battery life. If the sight detects no movement for approximately 225 seconds (3 minutes and 45 seconds), the illumination will automatically turn off, entering a sleep mode. Upon detecting movement, the sight will instantly reactivate to its last used brightness and reticle setting.

6.1 Cleaning the Lenses
