Installation Steps:
The unit is designed for easy movement with four 360-degree heavy-duty wheels and hidden handles. Installation requires the window sealing kit and exhaust hose, both included in the package. The unit is suitable for most sliding vertical and horizontal windows.
- Install the adhesive foam seals onto your window frame to prevent air leakage.
- Assemble the window boards. Put the screws into the holes in the plates, but do not secure them tightly yet.
- Insert the inner plate into the outer plate of the window kit.
- Install the non-adhesive foam seals.
- Adjust the length of the assembled window boards to fit your window opening. Attach the plates to the windows and close to clamp it securely.
- Attach the exhaust hose to the hose coupler, then connect the hose coupler to the machine.
- Insert the other end of the exhaust hose into the opening on the window board.
- Ensure all connections are secure. The unit is now ready to be started.

Note: The free-standing air conditioner can automatically swing the air 50-130 degrees left and right. However, the up and down swings need to be adjusted manually (Up-down air outlet angle is 0-85 degrees). You must manually open the front air guide plate before starting the AC unit.
Operating Instructions
Your HUMHOLD Portable Air Conditioner offers three primary functions: Cooling, Fan, and Dehumidify, designed to meet various climate control needs.

Image: Depicts the four operational modes: Cool Mode, Smart Mode, Fan Mode, and Dry Mode.
Modes and Settings:
- Cooling Mode: Adjust the temperature freely within a range of 61°F to 86°F. The unit provides 12,000 BTU (ASHRAE) / 8,000 BTU (SACC) of cooling power, suitable for spaces up to 500 sq.ft.
- Fan Mode: Circulates indoor air with 3 adjustable speeds, providing a refreshing breeze without cooling.
- Dehumidify Mode (Dry Mode): Effectively reduces humidity, with a capacity of 75 Pints/day, releasing fresh air for a comfortable environment.
- Smart Mode: Utilizes a built-in internal temperature sensor to automatically run in Cool or Fan mode, maintaining an optimal room temperature between 73°F and 77°F.
- Sleep Mode: Maintains an optimal temperature with a low-speed fan, operating at less than 48dB for a quiet sleeping environment. This mode can only be set via the remote control.

Maintenance
Drainage:
The unit features a built-in water self-evaporation system, eliminating the need for daily water drainage. Water will automatically evaporate through the exhaust hose during normal operation.
However, if the unit is placed in a highly humid room (humidity exceeding 80%) or operating in Dry mode, continuous drainage is required. If the internal water tank becomes full, the machine will stop. To drain, unplug the drain plugs on the back of the unit and connect a drainage pipe (not included) to allow continuous drainage. Once drained, restart the machine.

Filter Cleaning:
The air filter is designed for easy disassembly without tools and can be washed directly with water. Regular cleaning of the filter ensures optimal performance and fresh air.
