2. Safety Information
- Do not expose the unit to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that produce heat.

3. Product Overview
The Greadio Boombox CD Player with Bluetooth and Portable Shortwave Radio is a versatile audio device offering multiple playback options and radio reception. It combines a CD player, Bluetooth connectivity, USB and AUX inputs, and a multi-band radio (FM/AM/SW).

4. Setup
4.1 Power Supply for Boombox
The boombox can be powered in two ways:
- AC Power: Connect the provided AC power cord to the unit's AC input and a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
- Battery Power: For portable use, insert 6 x 'C' size batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. Ensure correct polarity.

4.2 Power Supply for Portable Shortwave Radio (MD-T26)
The portable shortwave radio (MD-T26) also offers dual power options:
- AC Power: Connect the provided AC power cable to the radio's AC input and a standard wall outlet.
- Battery Power: Insert 4 x 'D' cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the radio. Observe correct polarity.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 CD Playback
- Open the CD compartment lid.
- Place a CD (CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 CD) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment lid.
- Press the 'MODE' button to select CD mode.
- Press the 'PLAY/PAUSE' button to start playback.
- Use the 'SKIP' buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to navigate tracks.
- Press the 'REPEAT' button to cycle through playback modes: Single-track repeat, Full-track repeat, Random play.

5.2 Bluetooth Connectivity
- Press the 'MODE' button to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show 'BT' and flash, indicating it is ready for pairing.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select 'Greadio' (or similar name) from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the 'BT' indicator will stop flashing, and you can play audio from your device through the boombox.
- The effective Bluetooth range is up to 26 feet (8 meters).

5.3 USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
- Press the 'MODE' button to select USB mode.
- The unit will automatically begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3).
- Use the 'PLAY/PAUSE' and 'SKIP' buttons to control playback.
5.4 AUX Input
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX input jack using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Press the 'MODE' button to select AUX mode.
- Control playback from your external device.
5.5 FM/AM/SW Radio Operation
- Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM and Shortwave reception. For AM, the internal antenna is generally sufficient.
- Press the 'MODE' button to select FM, AM, or SW radio mode.
- Use the 'TUNING' knob to manually scan for radio stations. The frequency will be displayed on the LCD screen.
- For the portable shortwave radio (MD-T26), use the large tuning knob for precise station selection.

5.6 Sleep Timer
The boombox features a sleep timer function:
- While the unit is playing, press the 'SLEEP' button.
- Repeatedly press the 'SLEEP' button to cycle through the auto shut-off options (0-90 minutes).
- The unit will automatically power off after the selected time.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- CD Lens Care: If CD playback issues occur, use a commercially available CD lens cleaner disc.
- Battery Replacement: When using battery power, replace all batteries simultaneously with new ones of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
