Descaling (Hard Water Areas)
Hard water can lead to mineral buildup. Regular descaling is recommended to maintain performance.
- Moderately Hard Water Areas: Descale monthly.
- Hard to Very Hard Water Areas: Descale every two to three weeks.
- Suggestion: Using purified or bottled water can reduce mineral buildup.
To descale, use a descaling solution suitable for ice makers or a mixture of water and white vinegar. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling solution or use a 1:1 ratio of white vinegar to water. Run the self-cleaning cycle with the descaling solution, then drain and rinse thoroughly with clean water by running several self-cleaning cycles with only water.

Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on. | No power, loose plug. | Check power connection, ensure outlet is functional. |
| "ADD WATER" indicator is on. | Water reservoir is empty or low. | Fill the water reservoir to the MAX line. |
| "ICE FULL" indicator is on. | Ice basket is full. | Remove ice from the basket. |
| No ice production or very little ice. | Insufficient water, high ambient temperature, blocked water pump, mineral buildup. | Check water level. Ensure unit is in a cool environment. Perform descaling if necessary. Contact support if pump is suspected. |
| Ice melts quickly in the basket. | Ice maker is not a freezer; ice will melt over time. | Transfer ice to a freezer for long-term storage. |
| Unusual noises (squealing, grinding). | Possible mechanical issue, mineral buildup affecting components. | Perform a thorough cleaning and descaling. If noise persists, discontinue use and contact customer support. |
