4. Setup Guide
4.1 Physical Installation
- Mount the Main Unit: Place the 11.3-inch screen unit on your dashboard using the provided mount. Ensure it is securely positioned and does not obstruct your view or interfere with vehicle controls.
- Connect Power: Insert the Type-C power cable into the unit and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Install Front Camera (Integrated): The front camera is integrated into the main unit. Ensure its lens is clear and unobstructed.
- Install Rear Camera:
- Mount the rear camera at the back of your vehicle, typically above the license plate or on the rear window, ensuring a clear view.
- Route the 6-meter rear camera cable from the rear of the vehicle to the main unit, carefully tucking it along the vehicle's interior trim to avoid interference.
- Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the main unit.
- Insert TF Card: Insert the provided 64GB TF card into the designated slot on the main unit. This card is essential for dash cam recording.

4.2 Initial Power-On and Basic Settings
- Power On: Start your vehicle. The K2 PRO unit should power on automatically.
- Language and Time Settings: Navigate to the "Settings" menu on the touch screen to configure your preferred language, date, and time.
- Format TF Card: It is recommended to format the TF card through the device's settings upon first use to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Wireless CarPlay Connection
- On the K2 PRO screen, tap the "CarPlay" icon.
- On your iPhone, go to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" and "Bluetooth" and ensure both are enabled.
- Connect your iPhone's Bluetooth to the device (e.g., "OBDPEAK_XXXX").
- Confirm the pairing on your iPhone. The screen will automatically switch to the CarPlay interface.

5.2 Wireless Android Auto Connection
- On the K2 PRO screen, tap the "Android Auto" icon.
- On your Android phone, go to "Settings" > "Wi-Fi" and "Bluetooth" and ensure both are enabled.
- Connect your Android phone's Bluetooth to the device (e.g., "OBDPEAK_XXXX").
- Confirm the pairing on your Android phone. The screen will automatically switch to the Android Auto interface.

5.3 Dash Cam Operation (Recording)
- Upon powering on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording.
- The front camera records in 4K (2160P) and the rear camera in 1080P.
- Loop Recording: When the TF card is full, the oldest unlocked video files will be overwritten automatically.
- G-Sensor: In the event of a collision or sudden impact, the G-sensor will detect it and automatically lock the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten.
- Viewing Recordings: Access recorded videos through the "Dash Camera" application on the main unit or by connecting to the device via the dedicated mobile app (see section 5.9).

5.4 Navigation
Once connected to CarPlay or Android Auto, you can use your smartphone's navigation applications (e.g., Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps) directly on the K2 PRO's 11.3-inch screen. The unit utilizes your phone's GPS data for real-time location and directions.

5.5 Audio Output
The K2 PRO offers multiple ways to output audio to your vehicle's sound system:
- AUX Cable: Connect the provided 3.5M AUX cable from the K2 PRO to your car's AUX input. Select AUX as the audio source on your car stereo.
- Bluetooth: Connect your phone to your car's original Bluetooth system. The K2 PRO will then transmit audio from CarPlay/Android Auto to your phone, which then plays through your car's speakers.
- FM Transmitter: Select an unused FM frequency on the K2 PRO and tune your car's radio to the same frequency. The K2 PRO will transmit audio wirelessly to your car stereo.

- For iOS (AirPlay):
- Tap the "Apple Airplay" icon on the K2 PRO.
