1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the RedThunder K95 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard. It covers setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and user experience. The K95 features a 1.14" TFT screen, CNC knob, tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, USB-C), hot-swappable switches, gasket structure, and full RGB lighting.

2. What's in the Box
Verify that all items are present in the package:

3. Setup and Connection
3.1 System Selection
Before connecting, select the appropriate operating system mode using the switch located on the top edge of the keyboard:
- For macOS: Set the system switch to IOS.
- For Windows: Set the system switch to WIN.

3.2 Connection Modes
The RedThunder K95 supports three connection modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz Wireless, and USB-C Wired. Use the BT / CABLE / 2.4G switch on the top edge of the keyboard to select your desired mode.
3.2.1 Bluetooth (BT) Connection
- Set the connection mode switch to BT.
- Long press FN + Q for 3 seconds to connect to BT1. The screen will indicate "BT1 Pairing".
- On your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for "K95-5.0".
- Select "K95-5.0" and confirm pairing. The screen will show "BT1 Success".
- Repeat steps 2-4 using FN + W for BT2 and FN + E for BT3 to connect up to three Bluetooth devices.
- To switch between connected Bluetooth devices, short press FN + Q/W/E.

3.2.2 2.4GHz Wireless Connection
- Set the connection mode switch to 2.4G.
- Locate the USB receiver stored in the keyboard (usually near the system switch).
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
- The keyboard will automatically connect. The screen will indicate "2.4G Linking" then "2.4G Success".

3.2.3 USB-C Wired Connection
- Set the connection mode switch to CABLE.
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and the other end to your computer's USB port.
- The keyboard will be recognized as a wired device. The screen will indicate "USB Success".
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 TFT Screen and CNC Knob Functions
The 1.14" TFT screen displays essential information such as date, time, battery level, connection mode, and key status. The CNC knob provides quick access to various settings:
- Rotate Knob: Adjust volume, scroll through menu options, or change RGB light modes.
- Press Knob: Select menu options, switch between volume and other pages on the home screen.
Note: To adjust the time displayed on the screen, connect the keyboard in wired mode to a Windows computer and use the K95 software.

4.2 RGB Lighting Control
The K95 keyboard features full RGB backlighting with 1.68 million colors and 8 side lighting modes. Lighting can be adjusted via FN key combinations, the CNC knob, or the programmable software.
- FN + \: Switch between 16 backlight modes.
- FN + TAB: Adjust 8 side lighting modes.
- FN + ↑/↓: Increase/Decrease brightness.
- FN + ←/→: Speed up/Slow down the light effect.
- FN + Ctrl (Right): Enter/Exit custom lighting settings.

4.3 Hot-Swappable Switches
The K95 features a hot-swappable PCB, allowing you to change 3-pin or 5-pin mechanical switches without soldering. This enables customization of typing feel and sound.
- Use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove the keycap from the desired switch.
- Use the switch puller to gently remove the switch from the PCB.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB, ensuring the switch is perpendicular.
- Press the new switch firmly into place until it clicks.
- Replace the keycap.

4.4 Programmable Software
The K95 offers programmable software for advanced customization of key functions, macros, RGB effects, and screen GIF images. The software is compatible with Windows 10 and can be used in 2.4G wireless or wired mode.
- Download the K95-US driver from the official RedThunder website.
- Features include: Key mapping, macro definition, adjusting key sensitivity, sleep time, debounce, screen GIF image customization, and music rhythm backlight effects.

4.5 FN Key Functions
The FN key provides access to additional functions and shortcuts. The functions vary slightly between Windows and macOS modes.

4.6 Gasket Structure
The K95 keyboard utilizes a gasket-mount design with five-layer shock absorption and a single-key positioning plate. This construction provides a softer, more comfortable typing experience and ensures full-key anti-ghosting, making it suitable for both gaming and typing.

4.7 Battery Information
The K95 is equipped with a rechargeable 8000mAh battery. Battery life varies based on usage:
- Approximately 48 hours with backlight enabled.
- Approximately 266 hours with backlight disabled.
Use the original charging cable or a qualified data-capable USB-C cable for charging.

5. Maintenance
To maintain the performance and appearance of your RedThunder K95 keyboard, follow these guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the keyboard surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Keycaps: Keycaps can be removed for deeper cleaning using the provided keycap puller. Clean them with mild soap and water, then ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
- Switches: If switches are removed, ensure no dust or debris enters the switch sockets.
- Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Charging: Always use the provided USB-C cable or a certified equivalent for charging to prevent damage to the battery and keyboard.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your RedThunder K95 keyboard, refer to the following common solutions:
- Function or shortcut keys not working: Check the system switch position (WIN/IOS) on the top edge of the keyboard. Ensure it matches your operating system. Alternatively, press FN + ESC for a factory reset.
- Bluetooth connection failed: Long press FN + Q/W/E for 3 seconds to re-enter pairing mode and reconnect. Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and discoverable.
- 2.4G connection failed: Remove the USB receiver from your device. Long press FN + R on the keyboard, wait 3 seconds, then reinsert the USB receiver into your device for pairing.
