1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the WOLFANG WDV01 Portable DVD Player. This device is designed to provide portable entertainment with its 9.5-inch player and 7.5-inch HD rotating screen. It features a long-lasting battery, broad media compatibility, and versatile connectivity options for an enhanced viewing experience at home or on the go. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize the lifespan of your device.

2. Package Contents

Verify that all items listed below are included in your package. If any items are missing or damaged, please contact WOLFANG customer support.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the portable DVD player. The device can be charged using the included AC power adapter or the car charger.

  1. Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the side of the DVD player.
  2. Plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge typically takes 4-6 hours.
  4. For in-car charging, connect the car charger to the DC IN port and plug the other end into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

3.2 Inserting a Disc

Gently open the disc cover. Place the DVD or CD onto the spindle with the label side facing up. Press down lightly on the center of the disc until it clicks into place. Close the disc cover securely.

3.3 Using USB/SD Card

The player supports USB drives and SD cards up to 32GB.

  1. Insert a USB drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.
  2. The player will automatically detect the media and display the content.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Slide the power switch located on the side of the player to the "ON" position to turn on the device. Slide it to "OFF" to power down.

4.2 Screen Rotation and Swivel

The 7.5-inch HD screen can rotate 270 degrees and flip 180 degrees, allowing for multiple viewing angles. Gently adjust the screen to your desired position.

4.3 Basic Playback

  • After inserting a disc or USB/SD card, the player will typically start playback automatically.
  • Use the controls on the player or the remote control for Play, Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind, and Skip functions.
  • Adjust volume using the volume buttons on the player or remote.

4.4 Breakpoint Memory Function

The WDV01 features a breakpoint memory function. If the player is turned off or playback is interrupted, it will resume from the last played position when powered on again.

4.5 Connecting to an External Display (TV/Projector)

Use the included 3-in-1 AV cable to connect the portable DVD player to a television or projector for a larger viewing experience.

  1. Connect one end of the AV cable to the AV OUT port on the DVD player.
  2. Connect the other end of the AV cable to the corresponding AV IN ports (Yellow for Video, Red for Right Audio, White for Left Audio) on your TV or projector.
  3. Select the correct AV input source on your TV or projector.

4.6 In-Car Use

The WDV01 is suitable for in-car use, providing entertainment during travel. Use the car charger to ensure continuous power.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Device

  • Turn off the device and disconnect it from all power sources before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the player.
  • For the screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics screens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • To clean the disc lens, use a specialized DVD/CD lens cleaning disc.

5.2 Storage

  • Store the player in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the player.
  • If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your WOLFANG WDV01 Portable DVD Player, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Disc is dirty or damaged.		Ensure the disc format is supported (DVD, SVCD, VCD, CD, CD-R/RW). Blu-ray discs are not supported.
Re-insert the disc with the label side facing up.
Clean the disc with a soft cloth. Try another disc.
USB/SD card not recognized.Unsupported file format.
Card/drive capacity exceeds 32GB.
Card/drive is corrupted.		Ensure files are in supported formats (JPEG, WMA, MPG, MP3, DIVX, VOB, AVI).

8.1 Warranty Information

WOLFANG provides a 24-month warranty for the WDV01 Portable DVD Player from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use. Additionally, a 1-month free return and exchange policy is offered. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or natural disasters.
