1. Important Safety Information
Please read this manual carefully before installation and use. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 18 kg (39.6 lbs). Exceeding this limit may result in serious injury or product damage.
- Monitor Size: This monitor arm is designed for monitors between 27 and 50 inches.
- VESA Compatibility: Ensure your monitor has VESA mounting patterns of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
- Desk Stability: The desk must be capable of supporting the combined weight of the monitor arm and your monitor.
- Assembly: Follow all assembly instructions precisely. Improper installation can lead to equipment damage or personal injury.
- Moving Parts: Be aware of pinch points when adjusting the arm. Keep hands clear of moving parts.
2. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before beginning installation:
- Monitor Arm Assembly
- Desk Clamp Base
- Grommet Mount Components
- VESA Plate
- Hardware Kit (screws, washers, Allen keys)
- Cable Management Clips
- Instruction Manual
Note: The main vertical pole for the arm is often securely packed underneath the styrofoam packaging. Please check thoroughly if you cannot locate it initially.
3. Setup
3.1. Base Installation
The monitor arm offers two installation options: C-Clamp or Grommet Mount.
C-Clamp Installation
Attach the C-clamp base to the edge of your desk. Ensure the desk thickness is between 20-90mm (0.8"-3.5") and the depth of the bottom above is at least 50mm (1.97"). Tighten the screws securely to prevent movement.

Grommet Mount Installation
If your desk has a grommet hole, or you wish to drill one, use the grommet mount. The hole diameter should be between 10-60mm (0.4"-2.3"). Secure the grommet plate and tighten the components from underneath the desk.

Desk Compatibility Warning
The following desktop types are not suitable for installing the monitor mount:
- Fragile desktops such as marble and glass.
- Desktops with too narrow a clamp surface due to a table bottom baffle.
- Desktops with irregular or beveled edges.

3.2. Monitor Attachment
Before attaching your monitor, confirm its VESA hole position.
- Locate the VESA mounting holes on the back of your monitor. These are typically a square pattern of 100x100mm or 75x75mm.
- If your monitor has an embedded hole and the panel can be placed directly, use the appropriate screws. If the embedded position is small, use the heightening pads and lengthened screws provided in the hardware package.
- Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the provided screws (M4x30x4 or M4x12x4, or M6x12x6 if applicable).
- Slide the monitor (with VESA plate attached) onto the arm's quick-release mechanism until it clicks into place. Ensure the quick-release lever is engaged.

Tension Adjustment
The arm features a strong mechanical spring for smooth adjustments. After mounting your monitor, you may need to adjust the tension to suit its weight. Use the provided Allen key to turn the tension screw:
- If the monitor raises up, turn the screw in the "-" direction to reduce tension for a lighter monitor.
- If the monitor falls down, turn the screw in the "+" direction to increase tension for a heavier monitor.
Important: Do not adjust the tension screw without the monitor attached to the arm.

4.2. Cable Management
The monitor arm includes integrated cable management channels to keep your workspace tidy and protect your cables. Route your monitor and power cables through the designated slots along the arm and pole.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your NB ERGONOMIC Monitor Arm A7, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the arm surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Periodic Inspection: Regularly check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Lubrication: The mechanical spring is designed for long-term use and typically does not require lubrication. If you notice any stiffness, consult customer support.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your monitor arm, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Monitor is too high or too low / Does not stay in position: This indicates incorrect tension adjustment. Refer to section 4.1 "Tension Adjustment" and adjust the screw accordingly to match your monitor's weight. Remember to only adjust tension with the monitor mounted.
- Missing main vertical pole during unboxing: The main vertical pole is sometimes securely packed underneath the styrofoam packaging. Please lift and check all layers of styrofoam within the box.
- Arm feels stiff or difficult to move: Check for any obstructions. Ensure all mounting screws are tightened correctly, but not overtightened to restrict movement. If the issue persists, the tension might be too high; try adjusting it slightly in the "-" direction.
- Monitor wobbles: Ensure all connections, especially the VESA plate screws and the desk clamp/grommet, are securely tightened. Check that your desk is stable.
