2. Safety Information

4. Setup & Assembly

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your DERCASS Daybed. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

4.1 Prepare the Area

• Clear a spacious area for assembly.
• Lay out all components and hardware.

4.2 Assemble the Main Daybed Frame

1. Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are secure but do not overtighten initially.
2. Insert the bed slats into the designated slots on the side rails. Ensure they are evenly spaced and securely seated.
3. Tighten all bolts and screws on the main daybed frame.

4.3 Assemble the Trundle Bed

1. Assemble the trundle frame by connecting its side and end pieces.
2. Attach the trundle bed slats to the trundle frame.
3. Ensure the wheels are securely attached to the bottom of the trundle frame for smooth operation.

4.4 Install Headboard Features

1. Ensure the headboard with storage shelves is securely attached to the main daybed frame.
2. Verify the blackboard and cork board panels are correctly inserted or attached to the headboard.
3. Connect the USB charging port cable to a suitable power outlet.

4.5 Final Placement

• Carefully move the assembled daybed to its desired location.
• Slide the trundle bed underneath the main daybed.
• Place the recommended mattresses on both the main bed and the trundle.

5. Operation

5.1 Using the Trundle Bed

The twin-size trundle bed is designed for easy access and storage.

• To deploy the trundle: Gently pull the trundle frame out from under the main daybed. The wheels will facilitate smooth movement.
• To store the trundle: Push the trundle frame back underneath the main daybed until it is fully recessed.

5.2 Utilizing Storage Shelves
