5. Setup and Installation

The ropelux Solar Flood Light is designed for easy, wireless installation. No electrical wiring is required.

  1. Choose a Location: Select a location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily to ensure optimal charging. The light should be mounted on a wall or sturdy surface.
  2. Assemble the Mounting Arm: Attach the lamp pole to the bracket using the provided screws and nuts.

6. Operating Instructions

The ropelux Solar Flood Light operates automatically from dusk to dawn and features three distinct lighting modes. To activate the light and cycle through modes, use the push button located on the unit.

Lighting Modes:

  • Mode 1 (Dim Mode): The light remains at 20% brightness continuously from dusk until dawn. (Press the button once; the light will flash once to confirm.)
  • Mode 2 (Smart Mode): The light stays at 10% brightness from dusk. When motion is detected, it brightens to 100% for 18 seconds, then returns to 10% brightness. (Press the button twice; the light will flash twice to confirm.)
  • Mode 3 (Security Mode): The light remains off from dusk. When motion is detected, it brightens to 100% for 18 seconds, then turns off completely. (Press the button three times; the light will flash three times to confirm.)
  • To turn the light off, cycle through all three modes until the light remains off.
