Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

The Unistyle Sprinkler Timer requires two (2) AA batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit. Slide the waterproof cover open, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and securely close the cover.

2. Connecting to Water Spigot

Screw the timer onto any standard 3/4-inch outdoor faucet. Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks. If necessary, use the provided PTFE thread seal tape by winding it 5 turns around the faucet threads before attaching the timer.

3. Setting the Clock

Rotate the central knob to the 'SET CLOCK' position. Press the knob to select the hour, then rotate to adjust. Press again to confirm and move to minutes. Repeat the process for minutes and AM/PM. Press the knob once more to confirm the time.

Operating Your Sprinkler Timer

1. Programming Zones (Zone 1 & Zone 2)

The timer allows independent programming for two zones. Use the 'ZONE' button to switch between Zone 1 and Zone 2. For each zone, follow these steps:

1. SET CLOCK: (Already done in Setup)
2. START TIME: Rotate the knob to 'START TIME'. Press to select, rotate to adjust the desired start time, and press to confirm.
3. HOW LONG: Rotate the knob to 'HOW LONG'. Press to select, rotate to set the watering duration (1-360 minutes), and press to confirm.
4. HOW OFTEN: Rotate the knob to 'HOW OFTEN'. Press to select, rotate to set the watering frequency (every 1-7 days), and press to confirm.
5. AUTO: Rotate the knob to 'AUTO' to activate the programmed schedule.

2. Manual Irrigation Mode

For immediate, on-demand watering, rotate the knob to 'AUTO/MANUAL'. Short press the knob to enter manual mode. Rotate the knob to set the desired watering duration (1-480 minutes), then press to confirm. The water will flow for the set time and then automatically stop.

3. Rain Delay Function

To pause scheduled watering due to rain, rotate the knob to 'AUTO/MANUAL'. Press and hold the knob for 6 seconds to activate the rain delay. Rotate the knob to select the delay duration (1-7 days), then press to confirm. The timer will resume its schedule after the delay period.

4. Child Lock Function

To prevent accidental changes to your settings, the timer features a child lock. To activate/deactivate, rotate the knob to 'OFF'. Short press the knob twice to lock/unlock the settings. A lock icon will appear on the display when activated.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The built-in battery indicator on the LCD screen will show when the batteries are low. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Always use fresh AA batteries.

Cleaning

Clean the timer periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the battery compartment remains dry and free of debris.

Winterization

Before the first frost, remove the timer from the faucet. Drain any remaining water from the unit and store it indoors in a dry, frost-free location. This will prevent damage from freezing water.
