2. Safety Information

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your LED Stage Wash Light Bar:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the light bar and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
2. Mounting:
   • Attach the included bracket to the light bar using the provided screws.
   • Securely mount the light bar to a wall, truss, or place it on a stable floor. Ensure the mounting surface can support the weight of the unit.
   • Adjust the angle of the light bar using the bracket's knobs to direct the light as desired.
3. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the light bar's power input and then plug it into a standard 110V AC grounded power outlet.
4. DMX Connection (Optional): If using DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller to the DMX IN port of the first light bar. For multiple units, daisy-chain them by connecting the DMX OUT of the first unit to the DMX IN of the next, and so on.

6. Operating Modes

The LED Stage Wash Light Bar offers several operating modes, selectable via the onboard LED display and buttons, or the included remote control.

6.1. Remote Control Mode

The included remote control allows for convenient wireless operation. Ensure the remote has batteries installed (not included with all units, check packaging). Point the remote directly at the infrared receiver on the light bar.

• Color Selection: Directly select static colors (Red, Green, Blue, White, etc.).
• Brightness Adjustment: Increase or decrease the light intensity.
• Mode Selection: Switch between Auto, Sound-Activated, Strobe, and Jump modes.
• Speed Control: Adjust the speed of dynamic effects.

6.2. Auto Mode

In Auto Mode, the light bar cycles through pre-programmed lighting sequences and color changes automatically. This mode is ideal for continuous, dynamic lighting without external input.

6.3. Sound-Activated Mode

The Sound-Activated Mode uses a built-in microphone to detect ambient sound and synchronize lighting effects with the rhythm of music or other audio. The sensitivity may vary based on the environment.

6.4. DMX512 Mode

For professional control, connect the light bar to a DMX512 controller. The unit supports 4 or 8 DMX channels, allowing precise control over color mixing, dimming, strobe, and other effects. Refer to the DMX channel chart (usually found in the included user manual) for specific channel assignments.

• Set the DMX address on each light bar using the LED display and buttons. Ensure each unit has a unique address or is configured for master/slave operation.
• Connect DMX cables as described in the Setup section.
• Control the light bar's functions via your DMX controller.

6.5. Master/Slave Mode

In Master/Slave mode, multiple light bars can operate in synchronization without a DMX controller.

• Connect the DMX OUT of the designated "Master" unit to the DMX IN of the first "Slave" unit. Continue daisy-chaining to other slave units.
• Set the Master unit to an Auto or Sound-Activated mode.
• Set all other units to Slave mode. The slave units will then mimic the master unit's operations.
