Setup

  1. Unpack the Feeder: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Install Batteries (Optional but Recommended): For backup power during outages, insert 3 x D size alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the main unit.

  3. Connect Power: Plug the 5V DC power adapter into the feeder and then into a wall outlet.
  4. Install Desiccant Bag: Open the lid of the food tank. Locate the desiccant compartment on the underside of the lid. Insert the provided desiccant bag to help keep the food fresh and dry.

  5. Fill Food Tank: Fill the transparent food tank with dry kibble. Ensure the kibble size is between 0.07 to 0.4 inches (2-10mm) to prevent jamming. Securely close the lid.

  6. Attach Food Bowl: Place the food bowl in front of the dispenser outlet. Ensure it is properly aligned.
  7. Optional Height Increase: The feeder comes with 0.2-inch non-slip feet. For additional height (1-2 inches), separate height increase foot pads can be purchased.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

Programming Feeding Schedule

  1. Set Current Time:
    • Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds until the hour display flashes.
    • Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour.
    • Press SET to confirm and move to minutes. Adjust minutes using + or -.
    • Press SET to confirm and exit time setting.
  2. Program Meals:
    • After setting the time, press SET briefly to enter meal programming mode. The meal number (e.g., "M1") will flash.
    • Use + or - to select the meal number (1-6 meals per day).
    • Press SET to confirm. The hour for the selected meal will flash.
    • Adjust the hour using + or -, then press SET to confirm.
    • Adjust the minutes using + or -, then press SET to confirm.
    • The portion size will flash. Adjust the number of portions (1-20 portions per meal, approx. 8g/serving) using + or -.
    • Press SET to confirm the portion size.
    • Repeat for additional meals (up to 6). If you do not wish to set all 6 meals, simply exit by pressing and holding the LOCK button.

  3. Manual Feeding: To dispense a single portion of food immediately, press the + and - buttons simultaneously.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures the hygiene and proper functioning of your pet feeder.

  1. Disassemble for Cleaning:
    • Ensure the feeder is unplugged from the power source.
    • Remove the food bowl.
    • Press the release buttons on the side of the main unit to detach the food tank.
    • Remove the lid from the food tank.
  2. Cleaning Instructions:
    • The food tank, lid, and food bowl can be hand-washed with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
    • DO NOT wash the main feeder base. Wipe the base with a damp cloth only.
    • Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling.

  3. Replace Desiccant Bag: Replace the desiccant bag every 2-4 weeks, or as needed, to maintain optimal food freshness.

Troubleshooting
