4.2 Attaching Contact Points
Select the appropriate contact points (short or long) based on your dog's coat length. For dogs with shorter coats, use the short contact points. For dogs with longer or thicker coats, use the long contact points to ensure proper contact with the skin. Screw the chosen contact points into the receiver collar. For added comfort and to prevent skin irritation, place the conductive silicone caps over the metal contact points.

4.3 Fitting the Collar
The collar should fit snugly but not too tightly. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the collar strap and your dog's neck. Ensure the contact points touch your dog's skin. A loose fit may cause inconsistent corrections and potential skin irritation due to rubbing. The adjustable strap accommodates neck sizes from 6 to 28.5 inches, suitable for dogs from 8 to 150 lbs.
4.4 Pairing the Remote and Receiver
Typically, the remote and receiver come pre-paired. If re-pairing is necessary:
- Turn on the receiver collar by pressing and holding its power button until the indicator light illuminates.
- Turn on the remote by pressing any button.
- Press and hold the power button on the receiver collar again for about 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
- Within 10 seconds, press the 'Y' (Vibration) button on the remote. The receiver's indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Turning On/Off
- Receiver Collar: Press and hold the power button on the receiver until the indicator light turns on. To turn off, press and hold the power button until the light turns off.
- Remote: The remote typically activates when any button is pressed. It may enter a sleep mode to conserve battery and wake up with a button press.
5.2 Training Modes
The remote offers four training modes:

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
The receiver collar can be cleaned with water due to its IPX7 waterproof rating. Regularly wipe down the collar strap and receiver with a damp cloth. Ensure contact points are free of debris. For the remote, use a dry or slightly damp cloth to clean the surface.
6.2 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the devices frequently. Charge them when the battery indicator shows low power. Store the devices in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Asrcs Dog Training Collar, consider the following:
- No response from receiver: Check if both the remote and receiver are turned on and fully charged. Ensure they are properly paired. Verify the contact points are making proper contact with your dog's skin.
- Correction seems too weak/strong: Adjust the intensity level using the '+' and '-' buttons on the remote.
- Remote not working: Check battery level. Ensure no buttons are stuck.
- Collar not holding charge: Ensure the charging cable is securely connected. Try a different USB power source.
For persistent issues, refer to the full troubleshooting section in the comprehensive user manual or contact customer support.
