Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, tapes, and labels.
  2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance and Cleaning" section for detailed instructions.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Add Water: Open the top cover and fill the water reservoir with clean, potable water up to the "MAX" fill line. Do not overfill. The water tank capacity is 1.1 liters.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: After adding water, press the "Ice/Clean" button once to turn on the ice maker. The machine will begin the ice-making cycle.
  2. Ice Production: The ice maker will continuously produce soft, chewable nugget ice. The maximum ice capacity is 35 lbs per 24 hours.
  3. Monitoring Ice: The large viewing window allows you to monitor the ice-making process directly.
  4. Indicators:
    • "ICE FULL" Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will automatically stop ice production. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
    • "ADD WATER" Indicator: When the water level in the reservoir is low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will illuminate, and the machine will stop. Add more water to the reservoir to continue ice making.
  5. Power Off: To turn off the ice maker, press the "Ice/Clean" button again.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures fresh ice and extends the lifespan of your ice maker.

Self-Cleaning Function:

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
  2. Press and hold the "Ice/Clean" button for 5 seconds. The self-cleaning cycle will begin.
  3. The self-cleaning process takes approximately 15 minutes. During this time, water will circulate through the internal components to clean them.
  4. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir.

Manual Cleaning:

  • Unplug the ice maker from the power outlet.
  • Remove the ice basket.
  • Drain any remaining water from the reservoir.
  • Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent and water.
  • For thorough cleaning, the top cover can be easily lifted to access all nooks and crannies.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely before reassembling and using.
  • Clean the ice scoop and ice basket with warm, soapy water and rinse well.
