1. Introduction

4. Setup Instructions

1. Verify Compatibility: Ensure your device is a compatible TP-Link Archer router, such as the AX11000, C5400, or C3200 series, and requires a 12VDC 5A power supply.
2. Connect Power Cord: Insert the detachable power cord firmly into the AC input port on the adapter unit.
3. Connect to Device: Plug the barrel connector of the adapter's output cable into the DC input port of your TP-Link Archer router. Ensure a secure connection.
4. Connect to Wall Outlet: Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard 110V AC electrical wall outlet.
5. Power Indicator: Once connected to a live outlet, the adapter's LED indicator (typically blue) should illuminate, signifying that power is being supplied.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the adapter is correctly set up as described in Section 4, it will automatically provide power to your connected TP-Link Archer router. The blue LED indicator on the adapter confirms that it is receiving power and is operational. Your router should power on or begin charging its internal components as designed. No further user interaction is required for the adapter's operation.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect the adapter from the power outlet and your device before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Storage: When not in use, store the adapter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid tightly coiling the cables to prevent damage.
• Cable Care: Regularly inspect the cables for any signs of fraying, cuts, or damage. If any damage is observed, discontinue use immediately and replace the adapter.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem: Adapter LED is off / Device not powering on.

• Check Power Outlet: Ensure the wall outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
• Verify Connections: Make sure all cables (power cord to adapter, adapter to device, power cord to wall outlet) are securely and fully plugged in.
• Inspect Cables: Check the power cord and output cable for any visible damage. If damaged, do not use the adapter.
• Device Compatibility: Confirm that your device is indeed compatible with a 12VDC 5A power supply and the barrel connector type.

Problem: Adapter feels excessively hot.

• Ensure Ventilation: Make sure the adapter is placed in a well-ventilated area and not covered, which could trap heat.
• Overload Check: Verify that the connected device's power requirements do not exceed the adapter's 60W capacity.
