1. Introduction

The CiBest Mini Projector is a portable and versatile device designed to deliver a full HD 1080P viewing experience. Utilizing advanced LED technology and diffuse reflection, it provides bright, clear, and color-vibrant images while protecting your eyes from fatigue. Its compact size makes it ideal for various applications, from home cinema to outdoor events.

2. What's in the Box

Upon opening your CiBest Mini Projector package, please ensure all the following items are included:

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the device to prevent overheating. For optimal viewing, project onto a smooth, light-colored wall or a dedicated projector screen.

3.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cord to the projector's DC input port and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet.

3.3 Connecting to Devices

The CiBest Mini Projector offers multiple connectivity options:

• HDMI: Connect your laptop, TV box, gaming console (e.g., Xbox), or streaming stick (e.g., Amazon Fire Stick, Roku Stick) using an HDMI cable.
• USB: Insert a USB flash drive to play media files directly. Note: The USB port does not support mirroring phones or computers.
• AV: Use the AV port for older devices that support this connection type.
• Smartphone Connection: To connect a smartphone, an additional HDMI adapter is required (not included). For Android devices, a Micro USB/Type-C to HDMI adapter is needed. For iOS devices, a Lightning to HDMI adapter cable is required. Screen mirroring requires an HDMI cable connection; charging cables and USB ports do not support this function.

4. Operating

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the device on or off.

4.2 Adjusting Focus and Keystone

Use the focus ring located near the lens to sharpen the image. If the projected image appears trapezoidal, adjust the keystone correction to achieve a rectangular picture.

4.3 Screen Size

The projector supports a display size ranging from 30 to 200 inches, with a recommended range of 60 to 130 inches for optimal clarity and brightness. Adjust the projection distance to achieve your desired screen size.

4.4 Audio Output

The projector features built-in Hi-Fi stereo speakers. For an enhanced audio experience, you can connect external speakers or headphones via the audio output port.

5. Connectivity Notes

The CiBest Mini Projector is designed for broad compatibility with various devices. However, please note the following:

• Streaming Services: Due to HDCP copyright restrictions, this projector does not directly support streaming content from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, or Hulu via direct phone mirroring. To watch content from these platforms, you can use an Amazon Fire Stick, Roku Stick, or similar streaming device connected to the projector's HDMI port.
• Wireless Connectivity: This projector does not include built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities. All connections are wired.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Lens

Gently wipe the projector lens with a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

6.2 Cleaning Vents

Regularly check and clean the ventilation openings to ensure proper airflow and prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance and lead to overheating. Use a soft brush or compressed air.

6.3 Storage

When not in use, store the projector in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, consider using the original packaging or a protective case.

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your CiBest Mini Projector.

• No Image/Signal:
  • Ensure the correct input source is selected on the projector.
  • Check all cable connections (HDMI, USB, AV) to ensure they are secure.
  • If connecting a smartphone, verify that you are using a data cable and the correct HDMI adapter (Micro USB/Type-C to HDMI for Android, Lightning to HDMI for iOS). Charging cables do not support mirroring.
• No Wi-Fi or Bluetooth:
  • The CiBest Mini Projector does not have built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth capabilities. All connections are wired. For wireless streaming, use an external streaming device like a Fire Stick or Roku Stick.
• No Battery Included:
  • The projector does not contain an internal battery and requires continuous power from the included power cord to operate.
• Cannot Play Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu:
  • Due to HDCP copyright protection, these services cannot be mirrored directly from a phone or tablet. Use a streaming stick (e.g., Amazon Fire Stick, Roku Stick) connected to the projector's HDMI port to access these platforms.
• Fan Noise:
  • The projector is designed with a low-noise fan for effective heat dissipation. While some fan noise is normal, excessive noise might indicate blocked vents. Ensure the vents are clear of obstructions.
• Poor Audio Quality:
  • While the built-in speakers provide adequate sound, for a more immersive experience, connect external speakers or headphones via the 3.5mm audio output port.
